Homosexual Agenda Ping...
Willie Brown, famed savant, issues his prophecy.
He may be right.
I say, bring it on. I can't wait to see this one go down in flames. "Gay" marriage cannot become the law of the land.
If it does, things are going to start cracking.
If anyone wants on or off this ping list, ping me.

Quite simply, as I have said, when a couple gets married in one state, and if they go to another state, they remain married - no legal magic is at work that 'unmarries' them at the border, and 'marries' them again when they leave the jurisdiction
I might agree with you but in this case the couple was married illegally in one state. There is nothing to be magically undone, because there was nothing done in the first place. An illegal contract is void on it's face,no contract exists.

..the side fighting for same sex marriage is overplaying its hand. And how. McAwful and the Powers That Be over at the DNC have got to be losing sleep and weight over this while Karl Rove and the RNC are doing a jig. The DNC thought they had their extremists stuffed back in the can when they torpedoed Dean, but come to find out it's like packing 10 pounds of s**t in a 5 pound bag--you push on one end and just end up busting a seam somewhere else. Add to it the announcement today that Nader's running again and it's time to send cases of Pepto-Bismol and Jack Daniels over to the DNC HQ.
I was watching Hannity & Colmes tonite. The question of gay marriage came up to the dem guest (Deconcini?). He said it was a non-issue. HAHAHAHAHA! He wishes it was a non-issue!

"The SF activists should be put in jail, but no one is touching them. They violated CA law and the libs are conveniently ignoring it...even worse than that...they're flaunting it. They belong in jail."In no way was Martin Luther King Jr. correct on all his (primarily later) views, associates, etc. but he understood one very important fact in civil disobedience: break the law, accept the consequences. The images were strong and highlighted the non-violence strategy and it had a very successful effect. Compare that to today's liberals that want to break the law (stealing conservative newspapers, the Texas runaways, war protesters, etc.) in making their stand then when disciplined claim it's unfair, racist etc. The selfishness on the left is amazing - it's a hedonist party that never expects anyone to be responsible for their own behavior, just demand that society pick-up after their self-indulgence. In this case their is apparently no authority that's willing to take action and/or demand that the gay marriage proponents need to go the standard route - sue in court. On top of this, they ignore the ballot initiative that was passed only 2 years ago. The Dems thinks if this gay effort gets shotdown, surely the way it should in accords to their methods, then the left will be more motivated come November. Of course what they have done is put in a tight spot their myriad of office holders up for election in the fall while motivating their opponents (me and most here) beyond their wildest nightmares.
Most people here have been thoughtful about the issue, have taken on others in a constructive manner when disagreements on marriage vs. civil unions vs. neither. I'm proud to be part of a family of honest thinkers who have constantly shown the maturity that the left claims as theirs (under the guise of Diversity).

At the end of the day, though, we may be winning elections but losing the culture war. And losing the culture war is the *bigger* battle.
There shouldnt even be a *debate* about this.
Homosexuals do not need the privilege and responsibility of marriage to have their rights secured.
Society does not need marriage extended beyond the meaning as understood for the past 1000 years.
This whole debate SHOULD NOT EVEN BE HAPPENING.
Except that a radical minority has taken over the legal profession and are assaulting America with cultural marxism.
We have to fight back - hard. Or we will lose the culture war even as we 'win' election after election.

CA will demand recognition of the gay marriages from all states under the full faith and credit clause.
This is why a Constitutional Amendment will be required to quash this. The RATS in Maricónia (CA) blew it big time, started a furor with marriage licenses that are not even legal.
I think the onus should be on THEM, if they want a Constitutional Amendment to make it legal, let them try it?? We don't have to do a Constitutional Amendmemt to stop it. The Constitution is fine as it is, if somebody thinks it is't, they are full of poo poo, or in this case maybe something else..............
