I don't know how old this bozo is but, if he's around my age (50), he had about 1/2 the standard of living as today - two-family house, party lines, no basement, one car, one toilet, coal that you shoveled for heat, one TV, etc.

Jim Behnke is no bozo. Not even close.

Then he needs to address the difference in living standards - by today's standards, we were all living below the poverty level yet we thought we were living well. Now poverty is defined as not having enough stuff like microwaves, VCRs, DVDs, TVs, stereos, foreign cars, etc.
