I am hesitant to gloat on this news since we are dealing with a political party whose members are principled only in their desire to remove GWB. Any candidacy of Nader will likely flounder almost as soon as it starts because of the lack of support from even diehard liberals. On the other hand, conservatives in these forums have vehemently expressed their desire to vote based on their principles. I believe conservatives will in fact do so, but I would not expect liberals to exhibit the same high principles.

The rants were violent and quite abusive towards Nader. 1. Threatening physical violence on a presidential candidate should be punished severely.
2. The left is going to go through this violent phase in their death throws. Everything has gone down hill for them since 2000, and once they get past this violent phase, then we can laugh at them again.
Until then, be wary.

Yeah, I've been lurking too. Fortunately those folks are all talk, or I'd be wearing Kevlar if I were Nader. They are NOT happy campers.

...Nader's real impact will be to continue to pull Edwards and Kerry to the left...
Also he will demand to be heard at debates and will be the catalyst that makes Kerry defend his "record on special interests" and not allow him to turn it around as an attack on Bush.
To: dc-zoo
The Greens look likely to nominate Peter Camejo as of now. He got about 5-6% in the gubernatorial recall last October. Obviously, he and Nader would split support but it still isn't going to hurt.

Fortunately, they all favor gun control. They favor gun control for you.
Leftists are a special, smarter group of people that the rules don't apply to.

I've gone to their site a couple of times and was appalled by their language in general and their use of the F word in particular. Are you sure they're acting any different about this than they are about ANYTHING they discuss.
(Our day to exchange posts, I guess.)

I collected 100 sigs just from my county to get Dubya on the Indiana primary ballot. Maybe it varies state to state.

It does, of that I am positive. I would like to start searching how much it takes for each state.
I think he'll make it in most states, but as I said, I don't know what the requirements are.

Actually, that's not true. I have lurked on DU and whenever the gun-control-freaks rear their unconstitutional heads, they get a good, solid, literal thrashing. Of course, I helped.
There are D's out there that love guns, but hate large corporate institutions, which they see as unconstitutional.
