Can you put the pix on where you got it to begin with? If not, I don't mind the hits as long as my ISP don't start charging me. :>

Okay, thanks. I'm not sure what that is, but I'll keep checking.
You might want to save the graphics and put them on a free webspace server at some point and link them from there. They like hits. I don't run ads, so the hits don't do me any good. I'll let you know if my ISP complains.
To: Eastbound
You could move the pics aside if there's a problem.
Eitehr that or I could stick with my original
page, which is smaller in screen height, and gets you
down to the posts sooner!

ok here is John Kerry's stand on the "gun lobby"
from www.johnkerry.com
Kerry Stands Up to NRA's Divisive Agenda in Letter to Blacklisted Americans
October 30, 2003
For Immediate Release
Washington, DC -
Democratic candidate for President John Kerry wrote a letter to the hundreds of individuals, celebrities, authors, religious organizations, and businesses blacklisted by the NRA, to join him in standing up to the divisive agenda of the gun lobby and standing up for gun safety.
In a letter to the many prominent Americans put on the NRAs publicly advertised anti-gun list, Kerry said, The NRAs blacklist is the modern day equivalent of Richard Nixons enemies list. This blacklist is precisely the politics of division and distortion that have turned too many people away from participating in the process. We cant let the NRA scare people into silence. I know what its like to be targeted by the NRA, and I refuse to sit idly by during my campaign for the presidency while they push their divisive agenda on America and slander those who stand up for gun safety.
Kerry also promised to continue his fight for gun safety during his campaign for the presidency: Why should those on the NRA blacklist courageously risk their livelihoods when Democratic candidates for President arent willing to stand up against powerful interests and risk their political capital? I believe that standing up for gun safety is important, and I refuse to be a candidate who retreats from the issue out of political fear or one who tries to have it both ways. Im a hunter and a gun owner, but Ive never gone hunting with an AK-47. Ill stand up to the NRA when they call law enforcement officers jackbooted thugs or stand in the way of common sense efforts to keep the most dangerous weapons out of the hands of felons and children. The Democratic Party will never be the choice of the NRAand Im not looking to be the candidate of the NRA.
The full list of individuals being blacklisted by the NRA can be found on the website www.stopthenra.com The Kerry campaign is also asking Americans to sign the petition started by the Brady Campaign and the Million Mom march and join the NRAs blacklist.
Here is an example of the letter:

Dear Jerry Seinfeld,
As I scanned the pages of the New York Times this morning, I couldnt help but notice the new ads taken out by the Brady Campaign and the Million Mom March to stop the NRAs assaults on mainstream American values. As you may know, the latest of these attacks features a blacklist with your name on it.
Though it is not surprising that the NRA would publicly advertise a 19-page list of individuals, celebrities, authors, religious organizations, and businesses it describes as anti-gun, it certainly is infuriating. The NRAs blacklist is the modern day equivalent of Richard Nixons enemies list.
Why should those on the NRA blacklist courageously risk their livelihoods when Democratic candidates for President arent willing to stand up against powerful interests and risk their political capital? We can stand up for safety in America and keep guns out of the hands of children and felons and still respect the Second Amendment of our nationand if the NRA wants to blacklist us for that position, then I am ready to wear it as a badge of honor.
If you share my feelings, I ask you to join me in my campaign for the presidency, as I stand up for the values we hold dear, and a politics that elevatesnot denigratesthe public discourse in America.
Warm Regards,
John Kerry
BTW: Kerry wants to rescind the ban on homosexuals in the military. (its somewhat gun related)

Okay, I'll let you know. In the meantime, if you add the WIDTH and HEIGHT to the url line for each pix the posts will come up before the graphics load, as it reserves space for the pix and loads them later. I could be wrong, as I'm not all that html literate. You can get the dimensions by saving the pix to your desktop and load them into a graphics program to get the sizes in pixels.
Gonna crash, risk. Have a good nite. Looks like a great project you got going here. I'm only an occasional shooter but am getting interested in the Civilian Marksmanship Program and may give it a go.
To: longtermmemmory
If my long term memory serves me correctly, Gore got nosed out because of his anti-gun stance. Let's hope it's Pete and Re-Pete with Kerry.

Well this is a chance to post one of my daughter posing with an H-bar.
We had been shooting both the H-bar and a little High Standard Sentinel .22 revolver for about an hour. I took several of her shooting both but can't locate them.
This was in Florida on my Fathers property and it was cold that day.

Just out of curiosity -
What's the current status of the AWB renewal?
Congress should provide cover for GWB by not even bringing it up for a vote.

We succeeded in getting enough votes in the Congress but we don't have enough in the Senate. There are just enough RINOS there that it pushes the vote to their side. The dems are still acting as a anti-gun, anti-Rights party no matter what they claim when they say they're backing away from the gun issue.
What we have to look for is the dems attaching the AWB onto the Manufacturers Protection Bill. That vote is going to be during the first couple of weeks in March. Call your reps so they support a clean bill.
