Thoughts From a Patriot

What is a Troll???? I was taught as a young child that a troll is a hideous creature that live under a bridge that wants to harm children.
Apparently, there are a few subscribers to Free Republic that consider themselves the Troll Patrol.
Some authors of Posts to the Free Republic website are accused of being "Trolls". These people, whom call themselves the Troll Patrol, are trying to intimidate Americans who are wanting to express their thoughts and concerns to keep their thoughts to themsleves. This is an attempt to enforce censorship or pressure someone not to express themselves.
I would like to say to the Troll Patrol that this in not the old USSR or Nazi Germany in the 40's. This is the United States of America and we do have freedom of speech in this country.
If you want to find trolls, I suggest that you visit Sherwood Forrest there are probaly a few lurking around.
God Bless the United States and Protect Us From the Troll Patrol.

Saber, if you think that trolls are not more prevalent among persons who just joined than they are among the general FR population -- and we both know perfectly well that such is not only what I twice conveyed, but also what you understood me to mean both times -- then I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. Now drop it.
Are their trolls under that bridge? Most troll sightings are regulars - House Trolls.

If a post doesn't ".... work to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America." it doesn't belong here, IMHO. My concern has nothing to do with "freedom of speech", it simply relates to common courtesy and sticking to the purpose of the FR. And your post added what to rolling back decades of governmental largesse, exactly?
BTW, have you told Jim how you'd like him to police his own website?

Do you think the media is publicly owned. There are approximately 30 or 40 families that own the major forms of media in this country?
Do you think that we hear what is really going on? Do me a favor, go to a newstand and buy a European paper printed in English and compare
