I would put Colorado as a leaner. Colorado is a sleeper, IMO. It was only 50-51% Bush last time and has a long history of 3rd parties doing well. The question there is how many hard left Greens from Boulder or how many Libertarians split from the major parties.
Nader got over 10% in 10 counties. He got 6% in Denver County as well(and 12% in Boulder, 13% in Pitkin aka Aspen).
I do think it's Bush's race to lose though.
As for North Carolinas, I agree, but what worries me there is NAFTA/GATT and trade repercussions.
