(AP) The U.S. Small Business Administration has been ordered to pay more than $500,000 to a former employee who said her boss forced her to quit for refusing to go along with a scheme to discriminate against male workers.
A federal judge said the agency and its director, Hector Barreto, should have known about the mistreatment of Mary Conway-Jepson in the agency's Montana office, and failed to do anything.
Jepson said she was asked to help in a scheme to rid the SBA office of what former district director Jo Alice Mospan considered too many male supervisors.
When she refused, Mospan began a "lengthy, continuous and pervasive pattern of retaliatory treatment," U.S. District Judge Charles C. Lovell wrote in an order issued Tuesday. He said Jepson had no choice but to resign in 1997.

Wonder why Mospan wasn't held personally responsible for her criminal conduct. We (the people of the United States of America) will continue to face the predations of such "public servants" and bureaucrats until there is a mechanism in place to hold them accountable for their actions, and not just pass the buck to innocent taxpayers for their misdeeds.

This happened in 1997. Gee, I wonder who was President then, and who appointed her bosses?

Jepson said she was asked to help in a scheme to rid the SBA office of what former district director Jo Alice Mospan considered too many male supervisors. We need to get ignorant, prejudicial and dictatorial women out of positions of power. Certainly there are men with those qualities, too, but they seem to wreak far less havoc.

Shouldn't Mospan be charged for a hate crime?

No one signed a criminal complaint?
Since it involved public funds, if the injured party doesn't sign a criminal complaint, can a citizen step in and do it?

the agency must either offer her a $67,000-a-year job or pay her that much in each of the next three years until Jepson reaches her retirement age of 62. This is the part that got me. An SBA lackey in MT, where a case of beer is 6 bucks and steaks the size of your torso are 2 bucks, gets $67K prior to sticking it to us for her pension. SHEESH. No wonder there is a deficit.
But, on another note, my home county gets to pay millions to six librarians over the next three years because their supervisor felt there were "too many white people." Oh, and the county lost twice as they were retaliated against the first time they won the lawsuit and were reinstated.

So where do you turn to seek justic? Sure not the Bush administration Or the former ones. The answer is to vote ALL of these pols in this "2-party cartel" out of office. Make'um work for YOUR causes rather than the elites.
