Chairman of Congressional Immigration Caucus to Attend Kaloogian-Led Rally in Burlingame on Saturday
The Chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colorado), has endorsed Howard Kaloogian for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate.
Tancredo explained that Kaloogian's strong stand against illegal immigration and outstanding service as a conservative Republican State Assemblyman were reasons for his endorsement. Tancredo has offered to assist Kaloogian in a variety of ways in the final two weeks of the campaign.
"The United States Senate needs Howard Kaloogian's strong voice and leadership! I endorse his candidacy and offer my wholehearted support" Tancredo said.
"With Howard's strong voice for immigration reform and border security, we can make real progress on this important issue in the U.S. Congress!"
Kaloogian expressed his appreciation for Tancredo's backing, noting the national following he has attracted in his efforts to fight for stronger border control and fiscal responsibility.
"Tom Tancredo is a hero to millions of Americans who want to see our borders enforced. His support along with that of dozens of other national conservative leaders will enable us to raise the money we need in these final days to win the Republican nomination for Senate", Kaloogian said.
On Saturday, February 21, 2004, Tom Tancredo will fly to San Francisco to join Kaloogian at a rally against Democrat Gil Cedillo's new proposal to grant drivers' licenses to illegal aliens (SB 1160).
The rally takes place at 10:30AM at the Burlingame Hyatt hotel and is being organized by Kaloogian.

Conservatives always need to remind Republicans that they have a place in the new party structure.
To: StoneColdGOP
Jones. A real winner (gulp). Will he lose to Boxer by 10 or 15 points? See how cartels (the "Two-party Cartel) dilutes the talent to choose from. It's so bad here that two conservatives in Orange county have to fight it out. Can't have a person making it to the big dance w/o approval of the elites who certainly don't have your interests in mind.

Remind me again of the wonders of the great McClintock, and all those other CRA candidates, that have done wonders for CA the past 11 yrs, wrestlin' boy?
Those with such abominable track records as yours should really get a hold of their hubris before it's all too late....

And remind us again, why anyone who thinks there is a "right way" to give illegals licenses or amnesty and enjoys spending money not unlike a typical Dem has in common with the alleged "values" of the GOP?

Will the CRA ever be able to pick a winning candidate? They did not endorse in this race. They HAD endorsed Strickland (ha ha!) unanimously back in August, but neither Jones or Kaloogian could get the numbers for the endorsement.
Contrary to some of the stuff Kaloogian folks are spreading, Jones has strong support among conservatives.

Without Tom McClintock and the other CRA-supported conservatives holding the line against the Bay Area communists and L.A. Raza-Nazis this state would be the kind of socialist haven the left wingers are praying for.
The more RINOs and socialists get elected and the more they try to swindle the people into backing spend-more, tax-more ballot initiatives, the more they get closer to succeeding. Thank God there are SOME principled people here to say NO.
And leave my hubris alone.

HA! I just posted it and saw you already had so they locked my thread. You're good! We only sent that out to the press and posted it on our website so I was sure no one would have seen it!!

Well if some had their way, conservatives would be relegated to the back of the line it seems!
GO HOWARD!

I'm sorry - were you referring to Tom McClintock who was the TOP Republican vote-getter in California in 2002? Outpolling the likes of pro-choice moderates like Bruce McPherson and Gary Mendoza.
McClintock is the conscience of the Republican Party in California. Unless your version of the Republican Party is a high tax, drivers' license for illegal aliens, ban the 2nd amendment vision?
The moderates in this race recognize where rank and file Republicans are. That's why they all run like conservatives!

Contrary to some of the stuff Kaloogian folks are spreading, Jones has strong support among conservatives. You are confusing your nouns. RINO is the opposite of conservative.
Jones has lot's of RINO support. Kaloogian has lots of CONSERVATIVE support. There is a difference.

Many of the same conservatives that said Dick Riordan was our best candidate are now supporting Bill Jones.
Gee, that means a lot.
