The only Rat ever to get money from this guy was Kerry.
To: lewislynn
Asked what he did to repay the money, Kerry's campaign said Wednesday he had donated $13,000 to charity two days before the guilty plea.
Mr. Kerry...may we see the cancelled check ?

Do you see Enron mentioned here? No, therefore this is not a story of interest because Bush is the one with dirty hands. Look at all the evidence we've been shown that Bush knew dicey things were going on at Enron. It's obvious here that this is more dirty political tricks by the Republicans. I am sure Sen.Kerry didn't know this guy and his employees were scratching his back and the reason I am sure is because he said he didn't know.

Someone call Chris Matthews. He is running THE KERRY FOR PRESIDENT CAMPAIGN TEAM (because poor Dean made a mess of his campaign). It's like watching a campaign strategy session to beat President Bush on television. I sit here, late at night (after watching everything else on television) with my mouth open at some of the things they say.

I think it means they had advanced warning of the guilty plea and expect to say THAT MONEY was given to charity... after all, if you had illegal money and gave it to charity would you still go to jail?? (yes..)

How about Kerry's involvement with the Chinese?
In the LA Times, February 2, 2004, there was an article
(I have hard copy but no scanner) about Kerry in 1996
when Clinton was having the coffees, etc., and collecting
money from the Chinese. Seem's Mr. Kerry also was
doing business with Johnny Chung and the Chinese (one
of whom was Chinese Military), and for a contribution to
his campaign (about $8,000) he sent letters to the SEC
paving the way for the Chinese to do business.

If there are a few more days of the media questioning Kerry, then Edwards will likely be the winner on Super Tuesday. I think that will happen.

Cash and Kerry
The gift: He rails against big donors, but he knows the drill. Just ask Johnny Chung
In January 1998 he told the Boston Herald that the timing of the SEC meeting and the subsequent fund-raiser was "totally coincidental" and "entirely staff driven." He said the Beverly Hills event had been set up by a professional fund-raiser, and that he had never even met Chung until the night of the event. But congressional documents obtained by NEWSWEEK seem to tell a different story. "Dear Johnny, It was a great pleasure to have met you last week," Kerry told Chung in a handwritten note dated July 31, 1996. "Barbara [a Kerry fund-raiser] told me of your willingness to help me with my campaign... It means a lot to have someone like you on my team as I face the toughest race of my career." That same day the Kerry fund-raiser faxed a memo to Chung that read, in part: "The following are two ways in which you can be helpful to John." No. 1 was "Host an event in L.A. on Saturday, Sept. 9th." (A Kerry spokesman acknowledged that the senator may have met with Chung prior to the fund-raiser, but not in his Senate office.)
