The President met with Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in the Oval Office of the White House to discuss regional security and diplomatic issues. (Geography refresher: Tunisia is in North Africa, borders eastern Algeria and is SW of Italy, across the Mediterranean; the CIA wrote recently, "Tunisia has taken a moderate, non-aligned stance in its foreign relations.")
Laura Bush visited students and educators at Limerick Elementary School in the Canoga Park area of Los Angeles, promoting literacy. Mrs. Bush encouraged students to read more than they watch television.
And on a "know your opponents" note: the democrats continue to run in Circles of Confusion, today's version of Dante's Divine Comedy: The Inferno.

We've been praying for our kids' future mates since they were born.
There's somebody out there with the same high standards.
So far, no marriages, but that's OK with us! Better to wait for the right one.

...ain't he just like us common folks??
Oh yeah. (IF the world worked the way the Dims claimed, as a "rich Republican," I'd be getting trillion dollar advances on my books -- because I write them myself.) ;)

No a bad idea .. but how would it be enforced?? I'm guessing there would have to be heavy traffic with the banks on that, which, from what I read, is already in place to some degree regarding foreign transactions (like when we freeze another country's assets here, etc.).

RE: Laura with kids
I saw a clip of John Edwards with families today; there was a little boy, maybe 2-3 years old; he (John Edwars) just patted him on the head and didn't even look at him.
Contrast that with the picture of President Bush on the rope line at the WH yesterday, wiht that cute little girl, bending down and paying attention like she was the only person around . . . .what a contrast!

Does she even LIKE him???
I'd say that pictures at least shows that she does NOT like him kissing her. (Maybe she's just against public displays of affection.) ;)

His face looks like it's about to slide right off his skull.
New challenge on Fear Factor--be kissed by John Kerry without grimacing! UGH!

Well, he doesn't look like he's kissing her very well, either.
Not as bad as algor and tipper, but it was definitely a kiss meant for public attention, and not for genuine affection.........

And that scares me. In case y'all have forgotten, censure is the first step towards impeachment.
These Dumbocrats are going after our President with Soro's money.

Look at it this way. If we hadn't exercised and then written into law the freedom of speech, we'd still all be British subjects, being milked and plundered by the Crown.
Let 'em have their say. They're still going down in November.

What's up with that??Could be she's heard and believes the rumors about other women. Could be she doesn't like the campaign trail. Could be she's an arrogant, liberal, filthy rich, unhappy woman. Could be all of the above and more.
