Unfortunately, he's a lamb to the slaughter. Too bad Rudy is deluding himself that he's going to run for president. I wish the guy was a team player and was willing to run against chuckie. He would be able to raise the money and beat him. But alas Rudy can't see past his own clippings. Once he started after a national position, partial birth abortion and America's deep wide and continual mistrust and dislike of New York City will kill any chance he thought he had. Besides, if he waits for 08, nobody will remember who he is.

WOW! Really, he's running for president???? Where's the article?

Oh you made it up.

So he could be running against Hillary in '06 or smacking down Spitzer in '06. Which would negate all your other points.

Although I agree he's a non-starter for prez.

trash Rudy if you will, but you may find that in 2008, we won't have anyone else who can stop Hillary. Frist? Jeb Bush? no way.

I have no idea who I'm going to vote for in this primary.

Benjamin has been out front the most and seems to be the best organized, but Mills is now in it and since he's the next county over, I have no idea what he stands for.

A voting record background check should do nicely.

Yep. All the big names are essentially ignoring Putzhead and looking ahead toward 2 very big races in '06. Pataki is likely out of here (if he doesn't get pushed out before then by pissed off taxpayers), and that job is going to be wide open.

While I can't imagine Rudy (and Judi!) living in Albany, I think he might go for that one. Then again, the chance to complete a race against the hag in the crusty pantsuit might be too tempting to pass up -- especially since it would give him tons of national credibility, and *maybe* make up for his leftie positions on a number of issues.
