Sean has a new book? Imagine that.
I wonder if he will plug it on his shows?

Sean Hannity hates to write, but he forced himself to write another, his second, book, which became available yesterday. Just in case you haven't heard--that he has another book out now, even though he hates to write.

While I do like Sean, his self promotion does get a little tiresome.

Hoh? Hannity has a new book? Get outta here!

Is it a cook book? "1,001 ways to cook Tojo's Japan, fascism, totalitarianism while up on a hard break"?

If I were anywhere close to Hannity I would jump at the opportunity to see him again. He is as real and honest in person as he comes across on t.v. I know you all are tired of the self promotion and he should slack off of it, but he fights for us daily and he is compassionate about his conservitisim. He is a good person, support him, he is not much different than Laura, Bill, Hillary or any of the other tons of books out there. They all want to sell and if we were givien the same opportunity I am sure we would do the same.

If Sean keeps writing books at this rate, by the time he is 90, he will have written almost a hundred books. Wow, who would have thunk?

I agree. While Shawn does plug his book a little too much he is an ally and we need to stick together. I think he does so much plugging cause he thinks new people are tuning in and he wants everyone to know but we listen every day and it does get very tiresome, especially like yesterday when he interupted that vet to plug his book.

Same. He plugs his book too much, and repeats himself too much, but he still gets the point across. Still, he's a decent guy, and I plan on seeing him when he's in Wichita on March 10.

I am glad Sean has a new book out. Given the left-wing bias of major media outlets, he has to do more self-promotion than would otherwise be the case.

Besides, if Sean didn't write his books he wouldn't go on book tours. If he didn't go on book tours, fewer conservative fans would be able to meet him, he'd have fewer opportunities to feel the pulse of the conservative mainstream, and he'd convert fewer liberals and fence-straddling "moderates" to the conservative cause.

In the past, too many conservative leaders have become famous or powerful and "grown" leftward in their thinking and actions. So far, there's no hint of that in Sean. And his books and book tours are helpful for keeping him anchored.

So I hope Freepers will flood each of his appearances and all urge him to stay the course despite the many attacks. He's got the leftists on the run.

Sean Hannity -- typical blowhard from the Rush/Boortz School of Empty Rhetoric. All talk and no action. Don't offer anything substantive to reduce big government or socialism, just talk the talk.

...He plugs his book too much, and repeats himself too much, but he still gets the point across...

As a former marketing professional, I disagree with the first part of your post. Repetition is how Sean gets his point across. It's by far the most effective way to get one's point to stand out in the flood of media babble on the airways and on the Internet (especially when most of the media don't support one's perspective).

That's how marketing and communications work, for better for worse. Sean should receive credit rather than blame for recognizing that reality and working with it effectively.

So what more substantive thing have you done to reduce big government or socialism?
