Soldier: ''He has kept to his message on war and terror''

FORT POLK - Greeted Tuesday with cheers at this Army base that has deployed more than 10,000 troops to Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11, President George W. Bush declared, "With people like you, there is no doubt the enemy will be defeated and freedom will prevail."

Great Read, It's always great to read what our troops think of their Commander-in-Chief.

George W. Bush is at home with our troops, and they respect him

"We want him to know that we appreciate him being president," Walters said.

A wonderful sentiment. Good thing the President doesn't get bogged down in daily mass media coverage. You'd think he didn't have a friend left on earth.

FORT POLK - Greeted Tuesday with cheers at this Army base that has deployed more than 10,000 troops to Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11...

Bush snapped a sharp salute before the applauding soldiers and their families, a crowd estimated at 10,000 to 12,000, many chanting "USA, USA." ....And the response from soldiers to their commander in chief clearly was positive.

Said Capt. Joel Lynch, who has called Shreveport home for 10 years: "He has kept to his message on war and terror; he's been true to that since this started. Personally, I agree with the president."

He always seems in such awe of the men and women in service to our country.

Hmmm, no media when he met with families of fallen soldiers? The arrogance of him!

I am so glad that people love this president. All we hear these days is how many hate him, I'm getting sick of it.

Our politically corrupt media tries to ram that hatred down our throats and I'm getting to the point where I resent them. You can't help but wonder which side they are on in this war on terrorism. Where were they on 9-11 that they've forgotten so fast, or are they all really that shallow?

Will the key voting states pull a Florida and deny the troops their votes again? I would'nt put it past any states admins that have RATS in charge of voting booths and vote counting.

While we plan for integrity and honesty in voting, the Dims plan to undermine everything the Constitution stands for. Be ever vigilant those who believe in God and Constitution.
