Why call it? -- if you look at the counties, Edwards is losing most of them -- he did well in Waukesha (Milwaukee suburbs) but that is over half in. He also did well in some of the southern mfg counties, hard hit by NAFTA (Racine, Walworth), but they are also largely in. Across the rest of the sate, it is all Kerry, except for Dane (Madison), with no returns, but that is likely to be good for Dean, and the intellectualoids don't go for Edwards -- so, it will be close , but it is a good call.

Edwards about to speak, his crowd cheering loudly, wearing their "I voted twice" buttons...

Dean just said he would "give jobs back" to the American people.
Unless he becomes a dictator, how does he do that? Force businesses to hire people regardless of their skills or the need?
And other than bloated bureaucracies, the military, and highway spending, government doesn't create jobs.
Oh my, now Dean is going to pass a law saying a CEO could only make X amount more than the average worker. Like the average workers risked their capital to start a business.
Geez, this guy is a communist!

How can any poll possibly miss a candidate by 15%??? In Edwards case, Zogby missed nearly HALF of his support! Voter fraud?
Poller fraud?

This has given Edwards life. He has a slight chance at taking Florida now.
To: altura
It could be that he's overplayed that with the general public too, even the Dims. That and the constant, unrelenting attacks on the president. Not just the attacks themselves, but the completely snide and ungracious tone of them. Kerry could have just kept his mouth shut when George Bush went to the Daytona 500, but he just had to cut loose with a sneering put down that managed to insult the president and the NASCAR fans. It's stuff like that, which comes off as nothing more than petty viciousness, that I think is starting turn off at least some centrist voters (the Kool Aid drinkers, of course, are gulping this down and asking for seconds).
