What matters is whether Kerry does a lot worse than expected. A frontrunner without momentum. Gotta love it!

Good Lord I don't know how anyone that ugly can get elected president!

Edwards needs some polls showing he can beat Bush. I hope the polls still have Kerry ahead. Regardless of what's said.
I think Edwards can beat Bush.
I don't think Kerry can unless Bush beats himself.

As a Wisconsin resident, usually the city votes seem to come in last (I wonder why that is (sarcasm)
It would appear to me that Edwards and Dean have greater support in the Milwaukee African American communities. I think Kerry is viewed as wealthy establishment and status quo.
I guess MSNBC can call the race on exit polls, but I don't see Kerry getting a much larger lead when Milwaukee precincts report in.
However, it is possible that many GOP voters in suburban/rural areas voted Edwards just to mess with things, and those areas have already reported in.

I caught that, and thought to myself, the man(Kennedy) has to be out of his rabid a-- mind. The irony of it all.!!

amazingly, Clark is getting 2%, Sharpton is getting 1% and Howard Dean will get delegates because he getting 18%

This group's still voting for Clark? You have to consider absentee ballots. That is why I am a heretic, and am not too crazy about people filing absentee. Things can happen in between the time you cast your vote and when election day actually rolls around.

It doesn't matter that much if Kerry wins - I think this hurts him in the long run.

I'm guessing Dean dislikes Kerry more than he does Edwards.
But I have no way of knowing ... except that everyone who knows him dislikes Kerry.

Edwards has now lost two by a whisker -- Oklahoma and now Wisconsin.

**Race is close enough that the Kerry campaign is preparing spin about why they lost**
It would be Bush's fault. </sarcasm off

That maybe true but remember the exit polls in N.H. had Mr. YYYEEEAAAHHH! within a few points of Lurch and the final results were no where near the exit polls.

Well, since I live in CT I'm 100% sure that your analysis beats the hell out of mine. :-}

Good point.

Kerry went after Dean big time, when Dean was in front. Edwards "stayed above the fray".
I think that is the big factor. Dean is a petty angry guy, and he is going to be holding big grudges against Kerry for the next oh.... 30 years or so.
