Rush has finally focused on the Kosovo problem
Andy from Beaverton | 02/17/04 | Andy from Beaverton

Finally!!! Rush has finally focused on the problems with and in Kosovo. For some of us, we have been screeming about this since April of 1999. Before you decide to jump all over me for any Rush comments, he has almost never spoke about the aftermath in Kosovo. Sure at times he has spoken poorly about the Kosovo operation, but I can't ever recall him saying that we had choosen the wrong side. The question is going to be if he actually goes more in depth or if this is going to be it???

The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes was formed in 1918; its name was changed to Yugoslavia in 1929.

I've ignored your tendentious posts for a long, long time, Jones. But, for the record, as an American, I'm ashamed of you. With your Nazi this and genocide that, you are part of the problem, not the solution. You have lowered yourself to the lowest levels of nationalism to be found in the Balkans (and that's saying a lot!).

I prefer the word "genocide" to be properly used, as in WWII and Rwanda. To bandy it about as you do cheapens the word and demeans the victims of true genocide. Secondly, I detest the "nazi" word being bandied about as you do. Same reasons.

All of the so-called points you made ref National Socialism can be pinned on all parties to the conflict, not just the Serbs.

BTW, I was there for years DURING the war.

I think you're wasting your time, but I admire the effort :-)

(Particularly when most of the people who post here can't tell the difference anyway.)

You are he one that has a problem. Please benefit yourself from the email I sent Rush as he was speaking.

Finally, you're touching on the Balkan fiasco. What the 'small German magazine' didn't mention from your account is that we were 'Muniched' into supporting Islamists terrorists. You know it and I know it. Why not say it?

We should have been on the side of Milosevich. And that tragedy continues in the World Court today for all to see. Milosevic is being muted, but you and he, on the world stage of ideas, have a lot in common, that is respect for the truth.

For the last time, can you please show us the mass graves in Kosovo?>>

HELLOOOOO.... they were never dug because we showed up and put Milosevic out of business before Arkan's Tigers got a chance to old a family reunion around some Albanian girl's school.

The genocide of Albanians was stopped in its tracks before it began. I just wish we'd gotten into Bosnia two years earlier than we did, then the Kosovo operation would not have been necessary.

Turkey aided the Germans in WWI and as losers had no right to keep territory that was not theirs in the first place!>>

Criminal, nationalist fridge-theft is criminal, nationalist fridge-theft (even if carried out by a people who don't have any fridges yet).

The Greeks were trying to steal land that they didn't control. They lost. Get over it.

If invaders killed 1.5 million American males in a planned operation over three days, and rode 1.5 million women out of town to make sure that they never came back, you'd call that genocide, right?

1.5 milion males Americans = 1% of the male population = 7000 Bosnian Muslim males, the number massacred in the GENOCIDE at Bosnia. I know whereof I speak. You do not.

We should choose the folks who helped our downed aviators escape from the Nazis, not stab them in the back. The "genocide" was a lie.

Screw the muslims - the hell with them all!

Ditto!

As the old political joke goes, "What have you done for me lately?" The answer, in the case of Serbia is: "become like the people we saved your grandfathers from."

The "genocide" was a lie.

You have just summed up the nazi mindset in a nutshell. Congratulations. I couldn't have been more succinct.

Using the same logic you could say the US is not a Christian nation. It is a secular country with a majority Christian population.

The difference being that the Turkish constitution was specifically written to exclude it from being a moslem state. The US constitution has no such provision against Christianity.

(Of course I'm going on memory here and will bow to any of our Turkish Freepers input on this. Let me read from post 54 to the end and see if this gets corrected)

Yugoslavia didnt exist until Tito put it together after World War II.

And United States did not exist until Wilson put it together after WWI. And Serbs commited genocide on Bosnian and Albanian Muslims.

They shot at our planes and were successful in shooting at least one of them down.

This shows how evil Serbs are - we shower them with our friendly bombs and they shoot down one our plane. Very wicked!

I find it curious that everybody here hates Milosevic

I've never seen anything proven that shows he wasn't just defending his country. It is incorrect to say everyone hates him. We can't even say everyone hates clinton and thats a much easier case to make

The US should have dropped a nuke on all of the Balkans.

If you cannot spell the name of it, do not bomb it.

The Bosnian Muslim communities of Detroit and St. Louis

If they're moslem then they are not good. The moslem scriptures command them to be terrorists. To lie to us and to fight against us whenever they can. It is an evil religion founded for his own purposes by a lying child molester

Islam is more closely related to scientology than to any real religion
