February 17, 2004 -- Sen. John Kerry spent much of the weekend in Wisconsin going on about how he "stood up against Richard Nixon and his war in Vietnam."
Now, it's true that time seems to have begun for Kerry when he mounted the national stage back in 1971.

Kerry seems to like war until a Republican is President (look at Clinton in 1998 with Iraq and Kerry's comments).

"But perhaps the war only became 'immoral' in Kerry's view once a Republican became president."Democrats are people without principle who do the expedient whether right or wrong. All Kerry's positions are "expedient". That is why he appears to weave all over the legislative road.

In 2002, John Kerry votes to support the war in Iraq, but is against it today on the grounds that President Bush failed to gain international support via the UN.
In 1992, Kerry voted against the war to liberate Kuwait even though the UN Security Council fully supported the effort.
I suspect John 'F' Kerry would have voted to support the Vietnam war in 1962, but by 1972 actively protested against it. This isn't the kind of conviction and leadership America needs at a time of war against international islamic terrorists.

The last democrat president who knew how to fight a war was Truman. Johnson gave us Vietnam, Carter gave us an islamist Iran, and Clinton gave us Osama. Democrats are dangerous to our national health.

Kerry also knew that Clinton would never do anything more than deliver pinpricks to Saddam. So it was politically safe for him to be a "hawk" then.

kerry as an officer should have been court martialed for not reporing those supposed atrocity's to his superiors that he said he witnessed.

That's funny how Kerry is all for UN support and, like you said, he voted AGAINST the '91 Gulf War. May Bush hit that home.
