Several weeks ago, Assembly and Senate Republican political strategists put out a call to GOP groups asking them to recruit candidates for legislative districts where the party needed to show the flag.
It turns out the flag they're showing is rainbow-colored.

In the aftermath of ARINOLD's election, Kalifornia is now the official RINO capitol of the nation. It takes the title away from NJ, who managed to elect a conservative to replace to RINO Marge Roakme, and New York, which is running out of positions to run RINOs for.
George Ryan, Chritie Whitman, Don Sundquist, and Connie Morella come out down to the granola state and revive your failed careers! They got plenty of positions open for you and the local "Republicans" will crawl over broken glass to vote for ANY "R" no matter how socialist. Even NYC doesn't love RINOs this much!
Incumbent: Rebecca Cohn, Democrat
Log Cabin candidate: Fred Jankowiak, marketing consultant, San Jose
Note: Two other Republicans -- businessman and former Rep. Ernie Konnyu of San Jose and businessman/engineer David Redick of San Jose -- are running in the primary to challenge Cohn for what is considered a competitive seat.
Party registration: Democrat 45 percent, Republican 31 percent
-----
13th Senate District (Mountain View, San Jose, Gilroy)
Open Seat
Log Cabin candidate: Shane Connolly, finance manager, San Jose
Note: Andrew Abe Diaz of San Jose is running in the Republican primary, plus three Democrats in a district where the Democratic nominee is considered the sure winner in November.
Party registration: Democrat 49 percent, Republican 24 percent
I've met Shane Connolly. Typical pretty boy homo. I don't know anything about Diaz. Note: If Diaz wins, he may get to run against another Diaz which could be interesting.
Rebecca Cohn-head is vulnerable. I'll probably go with Konnyu. We'll see what happens.
Oh... Please... don't encourage any more!
We seem to be losing the battle as it is.
That kind of help we don't need!
I know this is a series and worrisome article, but I couldn't help thinking:
We have a lot of people in Log Cabin who are not afraid to ____ ass and who are not afraid to ___ _____ and go ____-to-____
Amazing how dirty the kids always make it. :D
It could be worse... you could be in the 23rd Senate District (Bev Hills/Santa Monica/etc).
Note: Lanzi (Log Cabin) is unopposed in the primary, ensuring a November election between a gay Republican and one of the state's high-profile lesbian legislators (Sheila Kuehl).
The Democrats have been ruling California like a private fiefdom for too long.
