Kerry lover holed up in city house
By Nixon Ng’ang’a

The woman who could end Senator John Kerry’s chances of becoming president of the United States remained holed up in a Lavington house in Nairobi amid claims that she had confessed her affair to a US TV station.

===I guess in KENYA they didn't get her statement...

Hillary's ambitions are so all-consuming, I doubt she can stand waiting another four years. I'll be surprised if she doesn't get in the race, but of course she'll have to be begged (for the good of the country, don't ya know).

Then the manure will fly and Kerry will have no option but to bow out, leaving Clark ready to sign his own death warrant and pick Hillary as HIS vice-presidential running mate.

When is this supposed to happen?

If it happens before the nominating convention in August, then it is not Clark's decision to make. The convention becomes wide open and anyone can be nominated.

If it is after the convention and Kerry is nominated and then is taken out, Clark is not elevated to the presidential slot as there is no succession in candidacies -- Bush runs unopposed by Democrats. (I think)

If it happens after the election and Kerry wins, then it is another matter.

for the good of the country, she should step on the track in front of an oncoming locomotive and stand still for a sec or two.

That was amazing. they basically said that Kerry was full of rap to suggest he is any deifferent from any other politician. They showed phtos og him in his office with Chung, described sending out a fax in return for contributions. Showing the big beach front expensive house used for special interest meetings was a nice touch.

Of course they hit Bush for taking money byut the sum of the piece was VERY negative to Kerry.

Sickening. Matthews is interviewing Bill Calhoun and asking him why no one else remembers Bush .. didn't he have any friends?

Mr. Calhoun explained that the guys in the Alabama NG at that time were Democrats and didn't want to socialize with Republicans

Guess why no one is coming forward to vouch for his attendance???? They're all Democrats!

"And he got his Botox and Viagra mixed up."

Do you know how to tell if John 'Gigolo' Kerry has been taking Viagra?

He gets taller.

This is getting interesting. Bob Dornan just called Kerry a war criminal on Hardball.

Are you finding Hardball as hard to take tonight as I am? After a glowing report of Kerry's 4 years (Lie Alert) of combat experience, Chris has on 3 Bush haters and Bob Dornan to talk about Bush. I had to press the mute button because I couldn't take it.

"The RNC Internet ad was ONLY pointing to the hypocrisy of Kerry."

Voters have cared little about campaign finance reform - or it's passage; so why would 'special interests' resonate as a campaign issue? It runs a flatline in my book.

Better they used the money to point out that while they appreciate Kerry the 'war hero' in Vietnam; they do not honor the anti-war heroics of JK upon his return home.

. . .or point out the hypocrisy of his record. . .his pro -Military talk vs his record of ever voting to support our Military financially.

Best would have been to challenge his views on 'TERRORISM'. . .the kind that sacrificed innocent people as a weapons of mass destruction to explode thousands more innocent people who were working than September morning, not too long ago.

. . .Kerry thinks it a 'law enforcement issue' ala Clinton. . .we know what the terrorists thought of that, for sure.

But the RNC did not go there; and no sense asking 'why not'.

Maybe saving it for a 'better day'.

Dornan tends to ramble about his own experiences, but he did mention Kerry was only in country for a few months.

Lisa Myers looked like she might have done some research here on FR for her piece. It was good, BUT as usual, NBC could not have left the hit piece alone and had to do a story by that snot David Gregory that said Bush took special interest money also.

That's typical of the media. When they go out to slime a Rat, they have to balance it out by sliming the Republican. But when they slime the Republican first, they hardly ever slime the Rat next.

Oh, so it was a bait and switch. The network will claim fairness by trash-talking Kerry with the mild "everybody does it" stuff, while still ignoring the rough stuff.

Yup..
kinda like the ACLU defending Rush.

Every once in a blue moon you give one so you can make outlandish claims about being objective, fair, etc...ugh..ad nauseum.

Chris Matthews on Hardball is having a total love fest talking about the wonderful brave John Kerry, enough to make you sick.

Thank God no one's watching but you and me. :)

I started watching it too; had to switch the channel. Sent MSNBC a pretty nasty email about it as well. Am sick and tired of little Chrissy and his incessant lies.

Are we here, the freerepublic members, the only ones who care about this stuff? Isn't it time this all came out for the rest of the nation to see and think about? I find it appauling that this is not being talked about but Bush supposedly going AWOL is the biggest story in town for the last week. C'mon people, what's up here?
