Election! Dummy.

Ya, was a good slam Kerry piece. Brought to light his hypocracy with saying anti lobbiest dribble while having them home for dinner. But look now: here is another piece slamming Bush re lobbiests.

Oh, so it was a bait and switch.
The network will claim fairness by trash-talking Kerry with the mild "everybody does it" stuff, while still ignoring the rough stuff.

Have we figured out what Lisa Meyers said yet???All I can figure out is that Lisa said that Kerry is corrupt, but President Bush is corrupt-er.
In other words, NBC as usual.

How come we never hear about this:
While in command of Swift Boat 44, Kerry and crew operated without prudence in a Free Fire Zone, carelessly firing at targets of opportunity racking up a number of enemy kills and some civilians. His body count included-- a woman, her baby, a 12 year-old boy, an elderly man and several South Vietnamese soldiers. "It is one of those terrible things, and I'll never forget, ever, the sight of that child," Kerry later said about the dead baby. "But there was nothing that anybody could have done about it. It was the only instance of that happening." Kerry said he was appalled that the Navy's ''free fire zone'' policy in Vietnam put civilians at such high risk.

The Ketchup Boy Charisma! ZEEEERRRRROOOOO!I think you're right. On the other hand I was never able to perceive any of Clinton's so-called charisma. So maybe I'm a poor one to judge.
Heck, for all I know Kerry's got tons of charisma that I can't perceive -- maybe legions of swing-voters are getting misty-eyed and swooning over for him all over the fruited plain.
Nah.

Will the media be given orders to destroy Kerry as happened in the case of Dean?
Bill and Hillary must be thinking it over now
I have a hunch the real torching of Kerry will begin after everyone else has dropped out of the race and he announces his running mate (Wesley Clark).
Then the manure will fly and Kerry will have no option but to bow out, leaving Clark ready to sign his own death warrant and pick Hillary as HIS vice-presidential running mate.

Lisa Meyers torches John Kerry I am glad to hear that. Chris Matthews on Hardball is having a total love fest talking about the wonderful brave John Kerry, enough to make you sick.
To: mrobison
Kerry has done and said so many stupid things since he entered politics there's more than enough material to work with. Honestly I'd prefer if we cut him slack on whatever he did in Vietnam. A Lieutenant can't be held responsible for the Navy's free fire zone policies.

I have no idea why it was removed. I had nothing to do with it. Maybe they just thought it was worth of being posted in its own right, to facilitate a better discussion of that article in its own thread.

Chris Matthews on Hardball should be wearing a blue dress from Sen. kerry tonight.
