If Kerry attended the Daytona 500, they would probably "boo" him -- Kerry and the South are not friends!
Guess the RATs think that Pres Bush should stay in the White House and sit down and shut-up so they are the only ones with any publicity.
Kerry is the worst of the DemocRAT candidates IMHO for telling the truth and that speaks volumes. He is right down there in the gutter with the Clintons and Kennedy!

Oh and it was fine for Bill Clinton to do that very same thing. Kerry is a jealous and I mean extremely jealous lying traitor. Is his manhood so damaged that he feels that much competition from Bush? Kerry will never be half the man that Bush is. And this moron want's to be president? Who the heck is he kidding?

Kerry, who has a commanding lead in the race to oppose Bush this fall, chided the president for taking time out Sunday to attend the Daytona 500, saying the country was bleeding jobs while he posed for a ``photo opportunity.'' Bush had donned a racing jacket to officially open NASCAR's most prestigious event in front of some 180,000 fans. I think senators should be doing something about the loss of jobs too. Why isn't Kerry in Washington instead of campaigning on taxpayers time.

Just a little photo envy on Kerry's part. Anyway Kerry has a lot of nice photo ops with Teddy Kennedy.
I had to laugh when Kennedy referred to Kerry pulling that guy out of the water.

``We don't need a president who just says, `Gentlemen start your engines','' Kerry said. ``We need a president who says, `America, let's start our economy and put people back to work.'' OK Senator, what's YOUR plan? Oh, that's right, you HAVEN'T GOT ONE!

"Lasee Philips, who is learning about the electrical and mechanical trades at the school, rose during the forum and told Kerry his support for the North American Free Trade Agreement was "throwing some red flags in my mind."
After working 22 years as an injection molder in the same factory, Philips lost her job last year and blames the trade agreement.
Kerry responded that the United State initially gained jobs under NAFTA, but blamed subsequent losses on the failure to enforce side agreements on labor and environmental standards.
Philips was not convinced. "NAFTA, in my mind, sent our country in a tailspin the day it passed in 1997," she said after the forum." Enter, stage left... he's tanned... he's ready... Ralph Nader!

You know, I was just thinking this morning: It occurs to me that the constituents of these weasels ought to be concerned that the people they elected are running around the country raising/spending money like theres no tomorrow, tearing down the President, spreading lies and offering absolutely nothing of a positive note in other words doing absolutely NOTHING with regards to the responsibilities for which they were elected in the first place!
Now John Effing Kerry has the GALL to lambast the President again, for being a Guest of Honor at Daytona - on a Sunday! Cripes, this guy takes every day off, and he's whining about the Prez taking Sunday off?!?

In addition, Kerry is pretty ignorant if he doesn't realize how many JOBS NASCAR creates for sponsors, television broadcasting, radio, stock cars, racetracks, for mechanics, pit crews, racing fuel and parts, the hotel and restaurant business, etc. NASCAR is part of the economy, stupid! (that stupid was for Kerry). Kerry's too stupid to be president.

You know, I find this as jack-ass irritating as all the rest of the posters on this thread.
But hard as it is to listen to -- oooh it's gonna be a long time till November -- we need to hope for more of this not less.
The more hissy fits like this Kerry throws, the more affably presidential George W. will look. There are a lot of people in this great land who vote for whoever seems "nicest." Throwing snits in public looks neither nice nor presidential.
