His credibility is on the line. Not mine, not yours, not Republicans. Just his.
Very odd. Especially since her father has supposedly been quoted saying Red Kerry is a "scumbag." Now they are going to vote for him.
Very odd.
But the rest of the media has tagged Drudge as a "right wing site". So a false rumor will be attributed to Drudge, GOP and the vast right wing conspiracy.
Drudge and the reporters who got the parents on the record calling Kerry a sleazeball. Yes, the parents now vow to vote for Kerry, but that part was separate from Drudge. Are those reporters getting played, too, and the parents pulling their legs? I think not.
Then there is the friend talking about this business being nastier than the reports hinted at. Another one playing Drudge? No, because she did not issue that comment to Drudge but reporters for the UK, and also our freeper in Kenya.
Plus Polier's denial is downright bizarre, and four days to issue it? Does not compute. Why wouldn't her denial say "I dated his staffer and this is ridiculous" instead of the odd phrasing and omitting the staffer part. Her statement made it sound like she would have no reason to have crossed paths with Kerry.
I have no other than the usual interest in the story, but I'd say the facts do not point to Drudge "getting played", but some kind of coverup underway.
But I'm willing to move on---for the time being.
All Drudge did was report that an investigation was underway in the lamestream media regarding Kerry and this young woman. I fail to see how his credibility is damaged regardless of the outcome of the investigation(s) or whether or not the results are disclosed. IMO, where there's smoke, there's fire, as the old saying goes. Kerry either hit on her or worse, had a little fling. But it appears as though the coverup (helped with lots of payola) will probably succeed.
Didn't he get 'played' with that Sidney Blumenthal wife beating rumor, too? I always thought Sid Vicious got that story to Drudge through back channels so he'd be able to sue Drudge and try to silence his criticisms of X42.
