[history]
"For the last several days I have seen Internet and tabloid rumors relating to me and Senator John Kerry. Because these stories were false, I assumed the media would ignore them. It seems that efforts to peddle these lies continue, so I feel compelled to address them. I have never had a relationship with Senator Kerry, and the rumors in the press are completely false. Whoever is spreading these rumors and allegations does not know me, but should know the pain they have caused me and my family. I am in Kenya with my fiance visiting his family, and we ask that the press respect our privacy and leave all of us alone."

I'm of that belief myself - a Dem setup that Drudge fell for. We are better off staying away from it, unless and until Drudge comes up with a smoking gun. It's his reputation that took a hit, so it's his job to produce the goods - which he has failed miserably in doing thus far. Score one for the Kerry camp.

Well here is what I have gotten out of this thread:
1. She claimed she was not an intern and we have pictures posted purporting to show she was a volunteer on his campaign? So I guess technically she was telling the truth on at least one point.
2. Her parents have certainly changed their tune at least according to various press reports.
3. Her profile as it read when put on this site says she likes OLD people and her status is open marriage?
As an aside, some of you talk like you want us to believe that the right scandle will cause you to vote for a DIM? Well it likely will not. Similarly NO SCANDLE, really nothing will cause DIMS to vote for Bush either. So the issue is not that DIMS will believe or be affected by it.

Hmmmm the similarities are striking.....
I do believe red hair would show up as such in a B&W photo
Any spooks /law enforcement folks out there that can run these images though a computer Photo ID'er?

The "interview" and the parent quotes both come from that bastion of reliable journalism, The Sun. It is a bit presumptuous to automatically dispute any story that contradicts those accounts. It may be true, or it may not, but a story in The Sun is not evidence of anything.

I'll tell you what's evidence:
How long does it take to recall you've NEVER cheated on your wife?
John Kerry could've cleared this up five minutes after the rumor broke on Drudge.
But Kerry didn't. He waited. He waited to see what the press had and how he needed to spin it. That wait tells me everything I need to know.
To: mewzilla
That's a genius idea, mew. When most of the press doesn't even have a story, run out and give them one by issuing a denial.

You are not suggesting that the Sun misreports the breast size of the Page 3 Girls, are you?
To: Bluntpoint
Well, a picture IS worth a thousand words.

WOW! Are you sure the woman in the color photo sitting down is Polier? It sure looks like her although the hair color is a bit different. Of course, women do change their hair colors often plus it is hard to determine true hair color from a B&W pic. However, the facial features are virtually identical (maybe a little thinner in the color pic). So if she said she never interned or worked for Kerry, it isn't true if that is a pic of her in the color photo.

I've got news for you :) The fact that Kerry is a horndog (love that word) has been known by the chattering class for years. The American public, those not living in MA anyway, are the only ones left out of the loop. The press has been covering Ketchup Boy's rear for years.
To: mewzilla
Charlie Manson is a murderer. But there are many that were not murdered by him.
Maybe Kerry has been boinking away...but this gal might not be a boinkee!

"The press has been covering Ketchup Boy's rear for years."
Bingo. And the statement from the bimbo didn't deny having sex with Ketchup boy; it denied having a relationship. I'm amazed at the number of FReepers who forgot the lost art of parsing statements from the rats. After all we all had to do it during Monicagate every time Carville opened his piehole.
Remember everyone:
1. Parse every statement.
2. Ignore the smokescreen, look at the fire.
3. Follow the money.
4. Remember Monicagate took 6 months to unfold.

To: billybudd
LOL, the statement was written by a Kerry operative. And they still haven't denied any of the allegations. They've denied having a relationship, but not having sex. I'm amazed at how blind so many people are and how almost everyone has forgotten that you can not believe these statements. If everyone takes this one at face value, they must have been the same suckers that believed every utterance of WJC.

I wouldn't take her word that she was. I wouldn't take her word that she wasn't. I just want someone to investigate to find out what in flaming Heck is going on.
To: spokeshave
That is a strange statement.
To: mewzilla
Unless there are pictures, phone messages, etc... what can be investigated.
It isn't like you can bring this gal in front of some government committee and compel her testimony.
We have many battles ahead. Best to regroup and fight another day.
Folks are just upset that they thought they had an early coup de grace for Kerry.
There is still plenty more time to deconstruct Kerry.
