I buy that there are factions (a minority) within the religion, who are radicals and terrorists. And those members of the religion must be stopped. This is what the President has said, this is what Mr. Pipes has said, and many others. And this is what I know to be the truth.
You are the one who is hopeless, if you can't or just refuse to see this. It's like refusing to accept that 2+2=4 or that the Earth is round.

No, the problem is to buy into the line that the rest are innocent. They need to do something about it, or face consequences.
I strongly believe it's a completely complacent arrangement though, and nothing will ever be done as it's justifiable action by their proxy army.

It is Not completely complacent. There have been a number of articles on FR about people in the islamic faith who have come out against the radical fundamentalists, and terrorists.
A big part of the problem is the media. They don't like to cover that story. If they don't cover it, how do people know what's going on? You have to dig sometimes to find the stories. It's really unfortunate.
But the point is, it's happening. Moderates are speaking out and condemning the terrorists.

No, this is Not a left wing cause.
The terrorists are the left wing cause. Not the moderates.

That is exactly the point of the thread posted here. And exactly Daniel Pipes point. It's the radicals that are backed by the left wing. That's why there isn't much coverage of moderates condemning them.

"You have some hardcore agenda here, and it's kinda scary." The agenda that's scary is the one insisting that all Muslims are inherently evil, which coincidentally mirrors the extremist Islamic agenda that all Christians are inherently evil. When our side starts sounding like their side, and people like myself who simply point out that we are losing sight of the true enemy are called names, demonized, and shouted down, THAT'S real scary.

"They need to do something about it, or face consequences."That's truly scary...you want to place blame on the actions of extremists on people who have absolutely no connection with them, other than the fact that they share a religious background.
The extremist here is you!

Well, when they nuke one of our cities out of the blue and the entire place is a ground zero, I'll (if I survive) remember our good people who were politically correct enough to restrain from doing enough of the issue.
And I'll try real hard to remember they're 'not all bad'. Sheesh, like I didn't know that. But enough of them are, and the 'good' ones aren't doing enough.
And neither are we. Period.

Let's do this.
I'm Jewish, and I'm not buying this crap about Christians being innocent, so I am going to hold all of them accountable for the actions of Christian Identity, the Ku Klux Klan, the World Church of the Creator, the Church of Jesus Christ Christian, Aryan Nation, etc., and demand that they either do something about these people, or face the consequences.
Sound fair to you?

Ok, in your make believe world, then..
To be even we'd have to have people killing Jews in the name of Jesus. We'd have to have a sizable amount of death and destruction already given to it, with more preaching to do the same always.
And we'd have to have the Pope supporting it, and actually sending out troops to support such a cause.
End Luis Gonzalez-land
So as you can see, it could be how you say it is, but it's not.
And if it was, then I'd say Christians better get their act together or face consequences, you better believe it.

It's very clear just how hollow the leftists calls for diversity and tolerance are. These radical Muslims were allowed to harass and intimidate Jewish students and a guest speaker with impunity.
Clearly Berkeley doesn't seek to quell intolerance, only the intolerance it disapproves of.

I have no interest in muslims who believe everything is an insult. They chose to attack my country. Hopefully they will suffer the consequences of there actions
