Said Mr Polier: "I think he's a sleazeball. I did wonder if she didn't get that feeling herself. He's not the sort of guy I'd choose to be with my daughter.I'm certain Mr. Kophecne felt the same way about the fat guy.

Reading between the lines:
Negotiations with The Enquirer are not quite complete.

"John Kerry called my daughter and invited her to be on his re-election committee. She talked to him and decided against it." I'm wondering if anything more will come of this. With the prevalence of Media bias and its alignment with the left, to them this is a non story. The American main stream media is the largest special interest group known and they will do whatever they can to protect their own. We can only pray that the truth come out. The answer is to work hard for the Bush/Cheney camp.

E.D. Hill on Fox and Friends this morning said this was just trash and nothing more and that it wasn't true. How can she just assume that --- oh I forget she is a Democrat. She's probably a Kerry girl now. Fox will never pick up this story unless there is some real proof against Kerry besides just He said she said.

"Fair and Balanced". So now Fox has to cheerlead for the liberals like CNN did. Many here claim FNC has not been drifiting left. I strongly disagree and this is just more proof.

I'm wondering if anything more will come of this.So true. An ABC affiliate is researching her story. Remember how Brokaw nixed the Broaddrick story from the nightly news? Besides... Bush was AWOL and the Supreme Court of the United States just appointed him president!
Makes me sick!

The title of this article immediately disqualifies it.
Drudge has said repeatedly that the woman was NOT an intern.

I truly believe that they have been listening to the complaints from the liberals about Fox being a right wing news program so they are trying to change it for them. The liberals call if FAUX News and I think that is starting to bother them.

"This is not going to go away," one American friend of Ms Polier said yesterday. "What actually happened is much nastier than is being reported." I keep reading that quote again and again.
What the hell does it mean? Did he rape her? Was Kerry into S&M or kinky sex? What could be "nastier" than screwing a girl young enough to be his grandaughter?

The first rally for Pres Bush sr was in Woodstock Georgia in 1992. I was repulsed by the Clintonoids there that were screaming about abortion rights, the evil rich and the biggest signs of all said "WHAT ABOUT JENNIFER?" in reference to rumors that Bush had an affair with a woman named Jennifer vs Gennifer Flowers problem for Clinton. Much was made about this and was never substantiated. Designed to erode his reputation and credibility - just as they are using it today. Jerks. It is Jerry Springer Clinton style

I think Edie and F&F are just being cautious...Edie qualified her comment by saying that accusers should "put up or shut up".
I think Fox will be all over this if and when there is more corroboration to the story. In the meantime, I don't blame them for playing it cautious. (Maybe they should hire Propertius!)

The bottom line is this ~
1. This kind of thing (another "intern scandal") won't keep the Democrats from supporting Kerry, they showed us that with Clinton.
2. Kerry's service in Vietnam won't win him all that many points with the Democrats, simply because they don't really respect that (Clinton proved that), and it won't fool many Republicans into voting for him.
The man who will win this election is the one with the clear sense of vision for the future. Bush has that, in spades.
The Democrats don't. They just hate Bush. And negative campaigning only seem to work in the primaries.
So let them rant all they want, they'll lose the same as the Republicans did when they ran Bob Dole, and all of us here at FR just couldn't imagine the nation allowing Clinton to serve more than one term...
