[history]
President Bush made his way to Daytona International Speeway today, where he was honored with starting the race. Air Force One touched down on a near-by airstrip after doing a fly-by for the thousands of NASCAR fans in attendance. The President's motorcade then made a trip around the oval before heading to Pit Row, where the President greeted many of the drivers. Bush also took time to greet some fans in the stands. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

No hangovers... just tired, and the depression that hits when you turn 35. Yuck.
Age is mostly ATTITUDE, imho -
"Mind over matter."If you don't mind, it doesn't matter. :o)

Am going to plant the bush at Jan's grave and put an artificial plant in the planter to leave there too. She loved angels so much so Lynn and I going to start finding them to take there. All of us still need prayers. That sounds like a beautifull idea ... You're always in my prayers MamaB {{HUGS}}

LOL...I could use a makeover myself.....Mike has so much work to do around here when he gets home, I wish I could wave a magic wand and have everything done before he gets here.

I put your family on our Parish Prayer list this week MamaB. I know it's hard, but with God's Grace you'll get through it. That's nice about the angel planter.

That's just what I was thinking! Vroom vroom...........
Reminds me of one of Eric's first phrases......playing with his Hotwheels........he'd say, "C'mon Yady!" to the other 'drivers.'
Think he got that from Daddy! :o)

OMG, I didn't know he did a flyby with AF1. That must have thrilled the crowd. It was awesome. I can hear the shrill protests from the Rats now.

He didn't zero-in on the Prez's
comment(he made it in reply to
the mic-guy asking if he wished
to drive a race car). I was sooo
impressed how he casually dropped
in that little pearl!

It is really a tiny planter about 6 inches long and about that high so any real plant would not stand a chance of growing in it. The planter area is only about 3 inches across. So, we are going to put some fake ivy or something like that in it. That way, we won't have to worry about having to change plants later. I also found a windchime with a large butterfly on it that we are going to put in a tree close to her grave. Other graves have them on garden stakes with the curved area to put hanging plants but we are just going to get more windchimes to put on them when we get them. One grave has some gazing balls so we have also thought about that. One even has a Pepsi can and other food items that were favorites! There are so many young people there and some are much younger than Jan. One was a musician and his stone has a guitar on it.
