A Prayer for my Brother-In-Law's sister Kathy would be greatly appreciated.
Kathy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on 1/23/04, admitted to the hospital on 1/26/04. We are all devastated and saddened.
Kathy had 7 days of chemotherapy. Was tested, and still has leukemia cells. Went through another 5 days of chemo last week. Kathy is very weak after the second round of chemo.
Kathy is married to Bob and they have 2 children, Niki 11 and Robbie 7.
Please pray for Kathy and her family.

My the Lord grant Kathy special strength to tolerate the chemo and welcome it as a powerful army of microscopic crosses fighting the cancer cells in her body.

Colleen,
I didn't read far enough into the thread.
Prayers of thanks for the donor and physicians who will do the BMT. Ongoing prayers for Kathy's full recovery and the strength for her to go through what needs to be done for that healing to take place. Finally prayers for her family, especially the children.

Sad update. The good Lord has called Kathy home. After a courageous fight, Kathy passed away late last night. Please pray for Kathy, her husband, children, brother and all her loved ones. We are all heartbroken.

I know that Kathys soul is in good hands and my prayers tonight are for her two young children, her husband, her Mom and Dad and her brother and sister in law. Lord knows they will need them.
