[history]
A retired Air National Guard physician recalls giving President Bush a physical in 1972, his son said Saturday, adding another memory to the small but growing pool of recollections of Bush's military service in Montgomery.
The memories of Bush's service contradict a dearth of paperwork surrounding his time assigned to the Alabama Air National Guard, but a retired Air National Guard personnel officer said the lack of records could very well be the result of shoddy record-keeping, as opposed to deliquence on Bush's part.

There is a difference between a routine physical and a flight physical.

Actually, it doesn't "contradict" any of the paperwork.

I believe they said his ability to fly lapsed because he did not take a physical in Texas because he was going to Alabama and would not be flying there.

Trouble is the Montgomery Advertiser doesn't get the same kind of circulation as the New York Times or Washington Post, who are still pedaling the AWOL lie as furiously as they can. Yea, and looking like they're on a stationary bike. This story is going nowhere. And one more witness makes it worse for them.

Where does Bush go to get his reputation back? No where, he'll just have to continue to do what he does best, trust in the people of our country, place his focus on the betterment of our country, take action to achieve it without political concern, and place his faith, that everything will work out for the best, in God.
Worrying about an agenda to unseat him as President because of rhetorical agenda as his political foe have stooped to, will only detract him from what is demanded of him in the position that he holds.
Boy would he make for a lousy Liberal!

Bush's 1972 medical exam!
"Son, I'm now holding your left testicle, so turn your head to the right, and cough very hard.
"Okay, now lets try the right testicle. That's good!
Son, have you ever thought of running for the President of the United States??
You certainly seem to have the balls for that!"

When is the media (and especially the professional libeler, Walter Robinson) going to apologize? Don't hold your breath waiting for that

Bingo ISROP,
The Clymers do not get that and how invasive a flight physical is.
For us Cessna drivers it is a glorified look to the side and cough.
For Pro Pilots it is the treadmill and a digit exam for sure. I am gonna guess a fighter jock physical is the same as a 1st Class physical that a Airline Pilot has.
If I wasn't going to fly, I am not sure I would want one of those physicals either.
Again the Clymers in the press are to stupid to figure this out....Beam Me Up Scotty!

Great reply aSHepard!!!
It's one for the archives!
Sadly enough there are liberals out there that would look at that statement and seriously contemplate their political attitude because of it!
It reminds me of the day's of my youth when I was promoted by loved one's to be President some day just because I was born on the same day as a well known past President.

If the media smells the witnesses are coming out, they will QUIETLY drop this case. They will not offer time for the witnesses to offer their stories, they will just drop the story quietly. The key is the internet, the talk shows will keep the pressure on if the big media is trying to do that. Bush has the right to ask - where do I get my reputation back?

The media's repeated reporting of Turnipseed "having no recollection of Bush " is ridiculous. It is the worst kind of logical fallacy - because one guy doesn't remember seeing someone they didn't exist. In the fall of 1992 I was an Army ROTC Cadet at Tulane University. At the same time Colin Powel CLAIMS that he was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and therefore the top of my chain of command. I don't recall ever seeing Colin Powell so that is evidence that he is just lying about the whole Chairman of the JCS thing.

Oh, but now, according to the press, Turnipseed is 'recanting' on his inability to recall seeing Bush there.
How can you recant your lack of memory??
Ludicrous. The whole thing is ludicrous.
And I still think it's going to come back to haunt the dems as a desperate attempt to destroy the credibility of one of the most straightforward and honest men to ever attain the presidency.

General Powell says he has no recollection of you, either. Therefore we have incontrovertable (is that a word? It sounds like one so I'm sticking with it) evidence that you are making the whole ROTC thing up.
Just wait until YOU try to run for president 30 years from now.
Powell: "I have full recollection of having no recollection of him at the time - or something like that."
Press Conclusion: Azcap Lied About ROTC Record
Any doctor that can remember a specific routine physical he performed 30 years ago scares me. I have to struggle to remember the names of some people I worked with day in and day out for a year around 10 years ago.

I guess next, the press will leave the AWOL issues and go on to imply that Bush murdered Chandra Levy, and demand that he show proof to the contrary.
