Actually, the National Guard records show a young man that would make any true patriot proud.

The media would rather not make mention of his meritorious record at all. Better to drop the whole thing and let the accusations remain a bitter footnote than to tout the accomplishments that are outlined in the evaluations.

This is the best part of this whole "scandal."

I like the way the various news readers stumble and try to find creative ways to pronounce it. They don't seem to want to believe it's the way it looks. ;-)

Thanks for the ping, RottiBiz.

Wherever someone's suffering ~ a Soldier in pain, a father who lost a son in battle, a General with alzheimers ~ count on our domestic enemies to be ready with the mighty pen ~ to lead our lost wounded in the wrong direction and exploit their weaknesses for political purposes.

On a related note, the Court has agreed to hear "Jane Roe's" case. Chalk one up for justice.

Kerry says Teddy Kennedy is his secret weapon. That is a good choice because Teddy is always loaded... except when he is half shot.

Steve Scully on C-Span Washington Journal gave short attention to this FABULOUS article, until a female caller dressed him down good for not giving it the attention it deserves. She forced him to re-read the portions he had read earlier.

HELLO WORLD!!! President Bush fulfilled his National Guard duty.

Deborah's column completely destroys this over the top, demonic line of attack on President Bush, and completely obliterates (again), the credibility of Terry McAulifffe.

Will any Sunday talk show host or guest explain to viewers that the party's over for down and dirty democrat attack dogs?

(On another subject entirely: If you want to see what AP's John Solomon looks like, he's on C-Span right now. (so funny...he looks like another Russert-like pumpkin head)

Well bless your heart!

Even if this Deborah Orin article weren't worth bumping all day, and emailing to every media outlet we know, your reply # 58 would do the trick.
Hilarious graphic!!

***"He was very punctual and very dedicated and never complained about it," Calhoun said. "A typical fighter pilot, a little more quiet than some of us. And drinking and carousing - that was typical of a fighter pilot." He added that Bush always appeared in uniform and "there was some resentment" from other squadron members, who did not like a man coming from Texas and talking Republican politics. ***

Bump!

Your link to that Capitol Hill Blue story sounds like just the item that Sean Hannity could use on his show. Stressing JAN 2003

It brings Gephardt's mantra of "miserable failure" into perfect focus.

Freeper challenge: Let's see if we can give this story some legs, on local talk shows across the country.

"It's a wonder they don't suffocate themselves with all that dirt falling back in the hole over them."

If we do it right this will happen in November...

Those talking points have been etched in my mind ever since I first read that article last year and the reason why I saved it.

Every time any Dem opens his/her mouth, one or more of these talking points comes out.

Sad to say, they seem to be doing too good a job of brainwashing the public with Goebbels' "The Big Lie" strategy.

It all makes sense now doesn't it? Now we know why no one in the Alabama National Guard has come forward to set the record straight on President Bush's service....THEY'RE ALL *%^#@*%$ DEMOCRATS!!!!!

And this isn't so hard to believe folks. From my own memory, Guard slots in Georgia were VERY politically distributed to the "good ole boys" back then, and for years afterward too. (may still be, but I don't know bout now), When the Guard started cross-training with active-duty units, back in the 70s-80s timeframe, we well remember the Macon boys coming to Fort Stewart to train with the newly re-instituted 24ID. Lord have mercy how their officers could party...and all of them were politically connected Democrats.

"Calhoun, who now lives in the Atlanta area, said he was a supervisor in the Alabama squadron and remembered Bush because he and Bush were the only Republicans in a squadron that otherwise was full of "George Wallace Democrats." "

Well, Shut My Mouth!! Now why aren't the newspapers that are quoting Calhoun including that little phrase? Hmmm?

Retired Lt. Col. Bill Burkett had claimed he heard Bush aides talking about having his Guard records scrubbed and saw it happen.

But the Globe reported Thursday that Burkett's corroborating witness, former Chief Warrant Officer George O. Conn, disputes virtually every point in Burkett's account.

Eeeerrrrrrrrhhhhh. Crash and burn. Crash and burn.
