This shooting happened on Tollgate Road. I live on Tollgate about 18 leapin' lizard steps from the freeway. We have two helicopters above. The East bound lanes of the freeway is closed. Our road is also closed. It's a rural area and once the guy shot he could have escaped using a number of roads.

The guy is getting more and more brazen.....I pray he is caught soon. Be careful!
To: flutters
I hope they catch him soon. It's a scary world we're raising our kids in today. I keep telling myself the bad guys have always been there; we just hear about it more today.
Keep your head down and stay safe.

Flutters, stay safe.
I was just up there last night to visit my daughter and son in law. Calling now to see if everyone in my family is home safe and sound now.

It sure is. I want to go driving around and see if I can spot a dark colored sports car, but hubby won't let me. :(
Sad thing is, I have my 8 year old niece and a girlfriends daughter staying with me right now. They were outside playing at the time. Scary stuff.

It's a cry for help. And it might not be a guy. It might be a girl. A male in his 30's to 40's was spotted at the Jeffersonville Mall shootings last week.

They haven't released any info on the caliber of bullets, but someone who heard shots said it was a LARGE caliber gun
(not a .22 or .35 etc).
To: CharlotteVRWC
I always find myself coming back to a reporter that said it was a 50 caliber. The reporter announced it on the air right after Gail Knisley was shot. The station then went to commercial break and when they came back the reporter fell all over herself saying it was not a 50 caliber. I think it was and she slipped and let the information out.

50 are rare, that would limit it to one type handgun, a 50 in a rifle, the car would not move very far...

I hope to heck we found out soon. This has gone on far too long. I've followed the story since it broke in November but never dreamed a shooting would happen practically in my own back yard.

Have been able to get ahold of everyone but my sister and her family. They live a couple of miles from Pataskla. Have you heard anything else?

The choppers were hovering here just a few minutes ago, searching it appears unless something else new just happened.
