The reality check is that thepainstream media isn't going to run with the intern story. Killing off John Kerrey isn't their mission. Something more vague and proven false is the story of W bush's missing drill time whick is getting more press time.

Keep your eyes glued to a female staffer of Kerry's to the senate finance committee, instead of Alex Polier.

Various internet pundits appear to be taking two different stories about possible affairs (several years apart) and fusing them into a single composite event. I had been confused there was talk about an event shopped by Lahaine that kept Kerry off of VP in 2000 and drudge was saying recent. Now I see.

Will Al Sharpton be "the last man standing" when Hillary bulldozes her way onto the Democrat ticket come July?

**reason for his ascent: electability.**
And I think the article is "right on" when it talks about this issue not affecting the elections next week (Wisconsin and Nevada), but after that I think it will take a big toll.

The twist with Clark re-entering the primaries is an interesting one, too. Hadn't thought of that!

This strikes me as being a remarkably astute prognosis, all things being equal. Bookmark for future reference.

At this point Wesley Clark, the other Democrat who can be sold and packaged as electable can re-enter the race, pick up Kerrys delegates, and muddle things up some more. Is this true--that a candidate can 'give' his delegates to someone else? Wouldn't that disenfranchise the voters?
