You know what drives me effing nuts! The press has known about this crap for at least 4 effing years! And yet, the Boston Globe has never investigated Kerry in almost 2 decades, but this just comes out! How long has the Globe sat on this? I remember Mara Liasson telling Fred Barnes last week about how tough the Boston press is and that Kerry has been "tested". I called bull$hit at the time and now I am right.

I can't stand it anymore, all these freeper comments about how this is attractive to voters.

That is completely wrong. You all forget that the revelation about clinton was met initially with revulsion. if the media had wished to handle the story with one tenth the indignation they've displayed over the trumped up Bush National Guard story, clinton would have been forced out by the end of the week.

Instead they held their breath and waited for their marching orders...about 4 days elapsed if my memory is accurate, while they were at loose ends, so they muttered about possible impeachment and so on, and THEN the WH triumphantly emerged with plan in hand and delivered it to their press people and the rehabilitation was afoot.

It is dead wrong to say people admire this, but they can be convinced to rationalize, excuse and accept it if enough stories are presented to support that position.

Yep. If true, the real story is the story itself.

The Dems will want to blame the VWRC.

But it's more likely precisely-timed a Clinton grenade,
intended to make the convention "open", they can pick
the ticket at the last minute.

Can't you replay the Dem reponses to this in your sleep?

"It's his personal life."

"Republicans are puritan bluenoses obsessed with sex."

"What did you expect - he's French."

"Let's get back to Bush and the National Guard."

It's all too predictable.

In our neck of the woods, we think it's going to be Edwards/Clinton ticket.

If you're right, he'd better hire food tasters.

You made my point for me.

The last thing today's Americans want is to appear unhip, or intolerant, or uptight about anything. The press and the other usual suspects will tell them it's uncool to care about who Kerry bangs when his wife's away, just as they did with Clinton. And the people will buy it.

This whole flap is useless politically, and will probably actually work in Kerry's favor.

I now know why the Bush AWOL story was persued so aggressively. Kerry wanted an equivalent scandal.

It seems that this might be the way this works. They had an affair between Kerry's marriages and just "stayed in touch" since then. It's been well-known that Kerry was tomcatting around before his marriage to Tairayeza. Everybody just assumed he stopped because . . . well, because she'd kill him.

Clinton didn't see Bush's drop in the polls and was caught with his pants down [how ironic!]. Now he has to make up time and fast to get Hillary ready for the Demopalloza coronation. Edwards will be her VP!

I can't stand Susan Ostrich and change the channel so I don't have to look at that face, listen to that voice, or hear that drivel.

How is it even a flap? No one but Drudge is reporting this. I checked the websites of ABCCBSNBCCNNPBSFNC--nothing. Boston Globe, Wash Post, NY Times, LA Times, Atlanta Journal-Const, etc, etc. Nothing. Meanwhile, more stories about Bush's so-called AWOL are out. Wash Post has a nice smear about Bush getting his teeth checked at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL in 1973. Surely the Bush story is more important...since they're not done smearing him about absolutely nothing. The Kerry story, however, hasn't been proved, you see. So how can a legitimate news organization report it? /sarcasm

Is Susan still single. I hear she has trouble meeting a guy.

WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHLLLLLLLL, she had trouble meeting guys but then started dating the head of the Carrol Channing fan club and it seems to have worked out.

In this week's National Enquirer, they say that Kerry had dated two famous Hollywood stars (they named them in the story, but I forget)...and that this year they both gave money to a different Democratic candidate. I think that says more about him than anything else.
