We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

Update 2:
CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.
MORE
A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!
In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]
The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
Update 3 FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...

A new CNN/Gallup pole shows JF Kerry slightly up on Pres. Bush, but his lead appears to be shrinking.

I'm just hoping that whatever Kerry did the girl did not involve ketchup.

And thus Kerry has just shown how unfit he is to sit in the Oval Office.
Knowing he'd be looked at closely, he thought he could handle this and yet didn't get out in front of the story.

The winner for the man with the worst timing in the world: Wesley Clark
Hey, Wes, sorry you stopped your campaign YESTERDAY
Sorry, but Clark is the one who over a week ago told reporters that Kerry was going to go down due to an intern problem. Whatever machinations and schemes and whatnot he was up to with his run and decision to drop out, he KNEW this story was coming.

Remember, Sean Hannity said he had something real good on Kerry to put in his new book. Said he would be toast.
If this was the stuff then Sean's book might be toast.
Should be a good listen in about 1/2 hour.

If Lehane was shopping this in 2000, it's not "recent," unless Drudge is defining "recent" as 3-4 years old.
I don't think this will harm Kerry in the primaries. It will pop up again during the regular election and it'll tend to do damage to potential Kerry swing voters/independents who had enough of #42 & don't want a repeat.

Have we forgotten about Bubba, and the fact that what a man does with his private life doesn't matter? <For God's Sake NO, we are not "forgetting". Some of us can analyze in more than simplistic terms.

Her name is Kristin Murphy...she is apparently some kind of model, intern for Ski magazine, among other things.
There was another thread which was pulled which had a picture, and the link had that name as the Kerry girl...I just Googled the name and she has a bunch of pics on the site.

If it's just an unsubstantiated rumor, my apologies, but I got that from a fairly good source... I never post rumors here, but this one seemed fairly credible. I sure hope I'm wrong.

I think there's more than one and I think they should all write books about Lovin' Kerry.

Isn't Lehane the one who worked in the White House and early in '93 or '94 compiled that list of all the scandals that they had to bottle up?
The list somehow made it into one of the Congressional probes, and the woman who was 'tasked' to do stuff in the first $$ hearing denied her fingerprints on it.
Lehane did a round on the talking head shows feigning a sweet innocent demeanor, that a couple people were just trying to help out.
There was a whole notebook of opposition info in that list too.
Maybe Alamo-girl can help my fuzzy memory on this.
I now think he was working directly for Hillary and the the FBI files thug-guy. My opinion.

She may be way in the back, but
the photo APPEARANCE is that she's
to Kerry's immediate right.
We're talking about the same girl.
