We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

Who is pulling Lehane's strings?

At first I thought it might be the 'toons, but I'm now leaning towards Gore....

The one in the very back and my 2nd pick, the one in the very front. Either one or BOTH possibly. Why rule one out? If he's a cheater, why stop at one? Both girls look like they've got a secret imo. I know chicks. I am one.

Rush shouldn't be quoting the National Inquirer, because he stated you can't believe them.

FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...
This is good. It sounds like it is something Kerry can overcome as far as the primaries are concerned, but will hurt him in the general. Best of both worlds.

A Harvard Law School graduate, he [Lehane] worked in the Clinton White House as special assistant counsel, part of a team responding to early Clinton scandals. He also advised Gore his campaign secretary when he launched his own run for the White House.

After the election, Lehane formed his consulting business with Mark Fabiani, another former Clinton and Gore adviser. Their clients include the AFL-CIO, which is battling the recall of California Gov. Gray Davis. and Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers star charged with rape.

Fabiani recently has been advising retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark, who is considering becoming the 10th Democratic presidential contender, the New York Times reported.

Who benefits if Kerry is discredited? Maybe the candidate that Gore endorsed.
