At the time it was first posted on FR, in early December, I doubt any of us paid any attention. But now, that Kerry may become President, I strongly urge all of you to read his speech -- all of it, very carefully.

Never mind his post-Vietnam anti-war stance, or what he said in 1970 -- he is saying the same things today!!! He wants to subordinate the US to the UN and wants to sell us out to the terrorists -- he wants to "normalize relations with Iran, the way we did with Vietnam". Never mind that Iran is building nukes and is sponsoring terrorism.

Instead of fighting terrorism with all our might, he would be sending fruit baskets to Bin Laden!! He would engage the Pope to talk the jihadists out of their terrorism!

Kerry is a SERIOUS DANGER to the very EXISTENCE of the US.

I am not exaggerating. Just read the speech. I add a few excerpts, but you must read the speech -- to realize what we may be facing if Kerry gets elected president.

He is knowingly undermining US foreign policy in war time, which is detrimental to our security.

Here are a few excerpts, at least read these and think through the implications:

"Simply put, the Bush administration has pursued the most arrogant, inept, reckless and ideological foreign policy in modern history. In the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks, the world rallied to the common cause of fighting terrorism. But President Bush has squandered that historic moment. The coalition is now in tatters, and the global war on terrorism has actually been set back."

"And in the first hundred days in office, I will go to the United Nations -- I will go in the first weeks -- and I will travel to our traditional allies to affirm that the United States of America has rejoined the community of nations. "

I will treat the United Nations as a full partner -- not as an obstruction to get by -- not only in the war on terror, but in combating other common enemies, like AIDS and global poverty. We must seek not only to renew the mandate of the U.N., but to reform its operations and revitalize its capacity. And if I am president, the United Nations will be seen as the asset that it is, not a liability to a safer America.

As president, I will be prepared early on to explore areas of mutual interest with Iran, just as I was prepared to normalize relations with Vietnam a decade ago. I would envision the Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Dalai Lama -- the great religious figures of the planet -- to begin to help the world to see the ways in which Islam is not, in fact, a threat, and to isolate those who are, and to give people the strength to be able to come together in a global effort to take away their financing, their freedom to move, their sanctuary, and so forth.

PING for Kerry's very important speech -- Kerry's approach to foreign policy, or a roadmap of how to sell us out to the UN and the terrorists.

I realize that we are going to be in deep trouble if Kerry wins the election (although not likely) I also realize that God is in full control but I still can't help but shutter at the thought of a traitor giving our country away.

Thanks for reposting this speech. Missed it the first time.

This is the most alarming document!

It should be required reading for every American before casting a ballot for President.

Sounds like Kerry very much pleased the CFR with this internationalist speech … and the Powers-That-Be at the CFR decided that he would be the Democrat nominee instead of Dean. Who knows, the CFR may even decide that Kerry should be president instead of Bush.

"Simply put, the Bush administration has pursued the most arrogant, inept, reckless and ideological foreign policy in modern history."

Hmmm. Most arrogant was Bill Clinton's (Haiti, Bosnia, Africa, and a host of other places without US interests).

Most inept? Jimmy Carter's foreign ploicy was most inept, e.g., Nicaragua, Afghanistan, Iran, Russia...want more?

For reckless, Clinton again. International security, proliferation, North korea, terrorism, anti-missile defense, China and missile technology.....all very, very recekless.

If I extrapolate this big UN hug by Kerry, he would probably endorse the Kyoto global warming treaty, shattering the US economy. Additionally, he would implement the UN's socialist utopian Agenda 21 document through the backdoor via executive branch agencies issuing mandates. Quite simply, he would import fascism into the United States. And let's not forget the UN's hatred of small arms ownership by individuals.

It's my belief that Kerry would start Civil War II in the United States.
