I didn't quite understand what you meant by an update to the ping list. Sounds to me like nothing changed from the perspective of us happy citizens of Sanity Island. If we want on or off, freepmail one of the Island governors; if we like where we are then carry on.

1. We're asking people who want OFF the list to FReepmail me (I volunteered to be the info gatherer for this update).

2. People who want to stay ON don't need to do anything. They'll stay on by virtue of already being there.

3. Anyone who wants ON for the first time can FReepmail me.

4. New info: After the update, say in a week or so, anyone who wants on or off can post that request to any of the Island Governors (mtngrl@vrwc; truthntegrity; gretchenee; ohiowfan; mjy1288; or rintense, if she's posting that day) as desired. We work it out that whoever gets the "ON" notice notifies the others.

5. I must say I like the nomenclature: Island Governor. LOL It's a benevolent role.
