My wife is now a contract officer for C.I.A,
she spent 20 years doing that for the USAF, these companies are suppose to put in bids, except of course sole-source contracts...

So what? I believe it's actually a federal law that you cannot say "Halliburton" without also mentioning that Dick Cheney was once associated with them.
It's similar to the federal law that requires one to link "John Kerry" and "served in Vietnam."

Hey Mindy! Worked for General Dynamics when they had their headquarters in St. Louis (1983 - 1991). Went through some VERY BAD times with them - - federal investigations, etc.
SAIC tends to low-ball their bids and work their people to death. When they bid time for their folks, they bid a low per/hour rate and expect their people to work about 50 hrs a week. I've had a lot of government customers who ask us to clean up the mess left by SAIC. Reputation is spotty at best.
Take care!

I work for one of the top 10 as well - and the group I'm in(mechanical engineering) has doubled in size in the last 18 months. Every other dept. has also seen phenomenal growth. Make sure to hit them all up as I am positive that we're not the only one having amazing growth.
To: duckbutt
I also work for #3. Ship Systems sector.
