WASH TIMES 2/11 Rep. Sam Johnson, Texas Republican, who spent nearly seven years in a prisoner-of-war camp in Vietnam, said yesterday the photograph of Mr. Kerry with Miss Fonda will hurt him nevertheless. "I think it symbolizes how two-faced he is, talking about his war reputation, which is questionable on the one hand, and then coming out against our veterans who were fighting over there on the other," Mr. Johnson said. Mr. Johnson recalled that his North Vietnamese captors played recordings of Miss Fonda telling U.S. troops to give up the war. "Seeing this picture of Kerry with her at antiwar demonstrations in the United States just makes me want to throw up."

Put a fork in him and he brought this on himself.

He is so damaged, I am afraid that the Clintons will replace him, like they did with Torricelli.

http://www.memri.org/bin/opener_latest.cgi?ID=SD66104 Iranian News Agency Alleges Presidential Candidate John Kerry Sends Email
Message
According to an article published in the Tehran Times, the office of U.S.
Senator and leading Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry sent an email
message to the Mehr News Agency. The following is the article as it appeared in
English:(1)
"The office of Senator John Kerry, the frontrunner in the Democratic
presidential primary in the U.S., sent the Mehr News Agency an email saying that
Kerry will try to repair the damage done by the incumbent president if he wins
the election. The text of the e-mail follows:
"'As Americans who have lived and worked extensively overseas, we have
personally witnessed the high regard with which people around the world have
historically viewed the United States. Sadly, we are also painfully aware of how
the actions and the attitudes demonstrated by the U.S. government over the past
three years have threatened the goodwill earned by presidents of both parties
over many decades and put many of our international relationships at risk.
"'It is in the urgent interests of the people of the United States to restore
our country's credibility in the eyes of the world. America needs the kind of
leadership that will repair alliances with countries on every continent that
have been so damaged in the past few years, as well as build new friendships and
overcome tensions with others.
"'We are convinced that John Kerry is the candidate best qualified to meet this
challenge. Senator Kerry has the diplomatic skill and temperament as well as a
lifetime of accomplishments in [the] field of international affairs. He believes
that collaboration with other countries is crucial to efforts to win the war on
terror and make America safer.
"'An understanding of global affairs is essential in these times, and central to
this campaign. Kerry has the experience and the understanding necessary to
successfully restore the United States to its position of respect within the
community of nations. He has the judgment and vision necessary to assure that
the United States fulfills a leadership role in meeting the challenges we face
throughout the world.
"'The current Administration's policies of unilateralism and rejection of
important international initiatives, from the Kyoto Accords to the Biological
Weapons Convention, have alienated much of the world and squandered remarkable
reserves of support after 9/11. This climate of hostility affects us all, but
most especially impacts those who reside overseas. Disappointment with current
U.S. leadership is widespread, extending not just to the corridors of power and
politics, but to the man and woman on the street as well.
"'We believe John Kerry is the Democrat who can go toe-to-toe against the
current Administration on national security and defense issues. We also remain
convinced that John Kerry has the best chance of beating the incumbent in
November, and putting America on a new course that will lead to a safer, more
secure, and more stable world.'"

MORE RE: CHINA
1996 : (SENATOR JOHN KERRY MEETS LIU CHAOYING, VP OF A SUBSIDIARY OF CHINA'S GOVERNMENT OWNED CHINA AEROSPACE CORP & DAUGHTER OF A CHINESE MILITARY OFFICIAL, TRADES FAVORS FOR CASH, PLUS CHINA GETS MISSILE TECHNOLOGY) In 1996 Kerry met with Liu Chaoying, the daughter of a powerful Chinese military official who also doubled as vice president of a subsidiary of the state-owned China Aerospace Corp. Before the meeting, held in Kerry's Senate office, Liu's sponsor, Johnny Chung, made clear she was interested in getting her company listed on the U.S. Stock Exchange. The Democratic presidential front-runner was only too happy to oblige and ordered his aides to contact the Securities and Exchange Commission. "The next day," reports Newsweek, "Liu and Chung were ushered into a private briefing with a senior SEC official." Within weeks, Chung returned the favor, staging a Kerry fund raiser at a Beverly Hills hotel that raked in $10,000 for the senator's re-election campaign.
Bank records would later show that Kerry's Chinese campaign cash came from $300,000 in overseas wire transfers sent to Chung on orders from the chief of Chinese military intelligence, Newsweek reports. The money was routed through a Hong Kong bank account controlled by Liu, whose company later benefited from waivers granted by the Clinton administration to the U.S. aerospace giant Loral Corp. As Liu and Chung were lining the pockets of the Democratic Party's political elite, Loral handed over top-secret missile guidance technology to Liu's firm. Liu's China Aerospace used the information to perfect Beijing's fleet of intercontinental ballistic missiles, which before the 1990s could not strike the U.S. By the end of the decade, however, China's ICBMs could reach the entire continental United States with pinpoint accuracy, thanks in part to the senator who says now he can be trusted with America's national security.
Chung later testified that before Liu wired him the cash to contribute to prominent Democrats, the chief of Chinese intelligence personally told him: "We like your president. We want to see him re-elected." Apparently, Beijing felt the same way about Sen. John Kerry.- "Kerry Took Cash From Chinese Military Intelligence," by Carl Limbacher, NewsMax, Monday, Feb. 2, 2004

DAAAAHHH!! I don't know which is scarier, Kerry's face or the anti-Second Amendment quote attributed to him.
On second thought, it's definitely the quote. I can get used to that ugly mug after I put it on my dartboard...

From
Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry website. About this photograph. The Viet Cong flag was added as a back drop to J.F. Kerry to symbolize the aid and comfort he gave Vietnam's "revolutionary Communists" with his high profile participation in Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) demonstrations. As a key VVAW leader, organizer and spokesman, Kerry marched in demonstrations where there was a clear presence and "abundance of Vietcong flags, clenched fists raised in the air, and placards plainly bearing legends in support of China, Cuba, the USSR, North Korea and the Hanoi government." Kerry was a vocal supporter of the "People's Peace Treaty," a supposed "people's" declaration to end the war, reportedly drawn up in communist East Germany. It included nine points, all of which were taken from Viet Cong (Vietnamese Communist) peace proposals at the Paris Peace Talks as conditions for a United States retreat from the Vietnam War. This communist Vietnamese flag fits Kerry well.
-------------
Look, I normally LOVE all the photoshopping and I've done some myself. But, this issue is too sensitive to be playing around with photoshops. All of the fakes running around on the internet will hurt our case against Kerry - we won't be able to use the real photos as so much uncertainty and doubt will have been created by all of the fakes.
Registered, we need to know NOW if the newspaper photo you posted is real or not. If it is fake, get rid of it, burn it, make it go away before it spreads all over the Internet and this whole line of attack against Kerry gets discredited.

OK. Now you changed the original picture you posted to another one. That doesn't mean that it isn't already downloaded to hundreds of hard drives (just like mine) and it won't circulate around the Internet.
Just say "Oops!", let us all know it was fake (should put something on it to make it more obvious) and then we can work to kill any confusion it will cause. I mean, the Kerry in front of the Vietnam flag was an obvious fake and Veterans Against John Kerry even openly stated it was intentionally made that way and IT still caused confusion. So, let us know what's up with the pic as if we haven't already guessed.
