ruled out a cylinder blast and said all cylinders on the bus were intact What cylinders? These buses don't use gasoline, do they?

What cylinders? These buses don't use gasoline, do they? Many places in that part of the world, like India, and also China, use natural gas canisters, which is cheap, for buses, and even at times taxis.

(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom and members of his entourage escaped injuries following what is being described as a major terror attack in New Delhi, Israel Radio reported.I wonder what they'd consider a minor terror attack.

I think their report came before the extent of the damage of the terror attack was known.

Brazil runs its cars on alcohol. If we had to cut our gasoline consumption to nothing, we could, and without much modification to our rolling stock.

Brazil runs its cars on alcoholPlease tell me more. And do you mean pure alcohol, or alcohol with peroleum additives, or petroleum with some alcohol (i think it was called gasohol or something like that)? Thank you sir.

History is replete with instances in which Muslims have wreaked terror and large-scale slaughter on Hindus and Sikhs in India and thereabouts.
BTW, someone should fill LT(jg) Kerry-Heinz in on the facts of history concerning the Sikhs'"affinity" for Muslims, terrorist or otherwise.
One of my dearest friends is a turban-wearing Sikh and I was horrified by what he has shown me concerning this matter within Sikh and non-Sikh historical source material.
Ironically, I've had to cover his six a few times during the course of some "social encounters" outside the office when he was being harassed or spoken against behind his back by other Kerryesque fools who mistook him for an Islamofascist sympatico. He'd take a hit for me, and, likewise, I would take one for him if the necessity were to arise.
The heart, character, loyalty, integrity, advocacy for the weak and oppressed, and other enduring values of that man (and his family)-- who is in his sixties and lived to earn his Ph.D. in a town where black Americans had been beaten and lynched, -- would put those of many of his fellow Americans to shame.....
