[history]
A photograph of Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts together with Jane Fonda at an anti-Vietnam war rally in 1970 in Pennsylvania has surfaced on the Internet, angering veterans who say his association with her 34 years ago is a slap in the faces of Vietnam War veterans.

"A young Kerry, however, broke faith with his brothers when he returned to the United States. With the financial aid of Jane Fonda, he led highly visible protests against the war. He wrote a book that many considered to be pro-Hanoi, titled "The New Soldier."Terry Garlock:(Kerry's) Vietnam stance irks veterans
Someone should dig into this -- Fonda was paying for the protests, which Kerry organized. There is clearly a much stronger tie between them, then just "accidentally" being at the same protest.
Is Kerry a Manchurian Candidate?

They proved today that W did fulfill his obligation.
The early out he got was standard procedure in that era. Besides, Kerry ALSO got an early out.
Anyone knows that Bush wouldn't have an honorable discharge if his service hadn't been fulfilled. For pity's sake, he was an officer. Officers don't go awol and walk away with it. That's just insane.

It is becoming increasingly irksome that FreeRepublic is not credited for unearthing this photograph. Yep. But as long as the message gets out- that's what's important.

Someone needs to get a copy of that book!!

"Joining the antiwar movement was possibly the worst thing he could have done to the soldiers still in the field," he said. "He basically gave aid and comfort to the enemy."Bump!
The Vets would know. It was them he was hurting. Now he wants their vote.

She said Mr. Kerry took part in the antiwar movement in order to bring U.S. troops home quicklyThese people refuse to recognize that these kind of activities in war time only encourage our enemies and cost American lives.

Start searching the used book stores in your areas.

"Can we make this an issue?...W's service...30 years ago"...
I think it is a legitimate issue because he has NEVER recanted his lies to Congress, his support of the commies, and has not made up for it in actions in the Senate.
W. on the other hand did not go to Vietnam, but he has served his country as Commander in Chief very admirably.

...which featured a speech by Miss Fonda and a reading by Hollywood actor Donald Sutherland. Did John Efn' Kerry make an appearance in Jane and Donald's antiwar movie "F*** The Army" (aka F.T.A.)?
Here's the IMDB listing for the film.
Here's a review of the film that someone wrote from a bootleg copy of the film on tape. There is a likelihood that JFKerry could be in this film.
"FTA" is reportedly being kept from reissue by Jane Fonda; the film was conspicuously absent from a retrospective tribute to her career at Lincoln Center earlier this year. Although not a great film by any stretch, it is a fascinating slice of a fractious period in American history. Having a filmed record of the discontent of that era makes this an important documentary, and one can easily forgive its shortcomings and stumbles when considering this was the rare production to question the Vietnam War at a time when Hollywood preferred to look the other way.

HLL,
Great find.
Those who know that you found it are the ones who count. I was asking for one barely a week ago, and here you've found it. Congratulations.
Have you seen registered's workup using the photo?

Here's the rub though - can we say W's attendance or non-attendance at NG matters not a whitWhere have you been? Bush's records have been all over the news. He's done nothing wrong. He's a-ok on the issue. He served with honor.
