Just a thought. I hope I'm not being too brazen in suggesting it. But it would be very handy to have such a thing.

I hope I'm not missing the point here (again) but I'd like to see a revealing photo of Linda Carter.  Can anyone help me with that?

Well, ask John Robinson about it. With the volume and diversity of threads, it sounds difficult to me.

I note that your question about Kerry photos is being answered by two Freepers, so far. :)

How about a section on the front page where FReepers can submit their names to be compiled onto a, "Ping List," for research? Any FReepers that have the time and resources can place their FReeper names onto the list and it'll be stored as a clickable link for requests.

Believe me, I echo your request and have been on quite a few hunts for quotes, dates and links myself. Perhaps it could be added to the Bump List for those mastered in the art of research.

I've been "requesting" an "environmentalism" topic for years. Expect a long wait.

Not to say that you're not looking hard enough, but I've stumbled into that photo on a couple of threads already.

How about a job section or "networking" section for people to post their availability?

It would also help if any Rush 24-7 folks could be on this list. He's got MASSIVE amounts of data in his "Essential Stack of Stuff."

I was going to suggest such a section too, but I didn't know where to post the request.

I am also strongly opposed to picketing, but I do not know how to demonstrate my opposition.

I'd like to know if anybody can tell me what happened to my home page designation window in Internet Tools, General; about 2 weeks ago, I logged on to MSN and when I clicked on IE on the desktop a message jumped that said: can't find \\C:\WINDOWS\secure.html, so I went to tools and the General window appeared and it had highlighted C:\WINDOWS\secure.html.

I backspaced it out and typed in Drudge report and closed the window and then reopened it and the C\WINDOWS\secure was back.

Even stranger is if I delete the active window and then type a letter the screen just below the bar opens and lists all the files that begin or contain that letter just as though the C:\dir command had been typed in.

I'm pulling my hair out over this and if that isn't bad enough Drudge and Google seem to be crosslinked; if I have one and call the other, I get a blank window.

I'm running W95 and IE5.5 and I've learned to put up with this slow 120MHZ POS, but this may be the last straw.

Can anybody throw a hint my way??

Hi Hon. You might want to flag John Robinson to this thread, so that he can review your suggestion. He is the one who is primarily responsible for the technical aspects of the forum, and implementing changes and upgrades around here. Just in case you didn't know who to approach with your suggestions as to how to improve the forum, and so on--now you do!
