Just checked Drudge's web page. Has column by Peggy Noonan who says the President's interview wasn't impressive. I have to agree that he was not energized or readily quick with his responses. I saw him as thoughtful with his responses. Russert kept trying to ask another question before Mr. Bush was through with the previous one. Others on the morning thread noticed and commented on the same thing.

Oh, good! A friend gave me a best of his early stuff CD for Christmas. And I know a couple years ago Doc and his grandson Richard did an album together (Doc's son Merle had died back in the 80s in a farming accident; there's a yearly bluegrass festival called MerleFest in his honor)
