All I know is that he called Bush the boob in the White House.
I Tivoed it and played it over 3 times. I thought that he was a reasonable person as well. It was pretty appalling.

BTW, this White Stripes is CRAP!

True she has a nice voice, but she often goes too far with the ad libs.

Are the Dixie Chicks nominated tonight? And I wonder if the band Incubus is going to play tonight.

If either appear we are guaranteed an anti-Bush outburst, tape delay or not.

LOL. My wife just commented she'd heard better renditions of that song at a karaoke bar. Guess everyones' ear is different.

I agree with your wife. Horrible, especially grandpa Sting. Why doesn't he go away? Constantly shoved in our faces as some kind of musical genius. What a bore.

"And she gets my daughters and I in the right mood for picking apart everyone that walks up to the microphone! ( oh wouldja look at that hair etc.)"

Oh you wouldn't do THAT would you?

Ha, it's the American way.

She was interviewing Sean Astin from 'Lord of the Rings'. She asked him to expose his boob and he stated " No, we need to expose the boob who is in the White House".

I thought Sean Astin was a Republican. I guess not.

Oh no... so did I. How disappointing. :-(

I haven't brought a CD in a few years...

Something tells you will not care for the RIAA's "anti-piracy" ad that airs tonight.

What is hilarious is how these people dress for these little masturbation sessions and expect to be taken seriously, concerning matters of government policy.

Aha! If Sean Astin was indeed the guy who said he wanted the boob out of the White House, he's a big fat hypocrite and liar. He's a member of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation, for goodness sake! See http://www.whitehouse.gov/kids/presidentsday and http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/01/20030130-4.html

To be honest, the last time I actually sat down and watched the Grammy was when the first rap category was introduced 88 or 89. Since then I always felt it was all political and the best performers never got a fair shake IMO. Now I see all these award shows for what they really are, a bunch of self-absorbed whiners who think just because they got a few more extra zeros at their paycheck that qualifies them to expound their vast knowledge of world affairs. Pardon me while I barf.

Why is that? Relax your ring piece Matt, I haven't downloaded music either. I just haven't cared for anything I've heard in a while.
