WASHINGTON (Mehr News Agency) -- The office of Senator John Kerry, the frontrunner in the Democratic presidential primary in the U.S., sent the Mehr News Agency an e-email saying that Kerry will try to repair the damage done by the incumbent president if he wins the election. The text of the e-mail follows.
As Americans who have lived and worked extensively overseas, we have personally witnessed the high regard with which people around the world have historically viewed the United States. Sadly, we are also painfully aware of how the actions and the attitudes demonstrated by the U.S. government over the past three years have threatened the goodwill earned by presidents of both parties over many decades and put many of our international relationships at risk.
It is in the urgent interests of the people of the United States to restore our country's credibility in the eyes of the world. America needs the kind of leadership that will repair alliances with countries on every continent that have been so damaged in the past few years, as well as build new friendships and overcome tensions with others.
We are convinced that John Kerry is the candidate best qualified to meet this challenge. Senator Kerry has the diplomatic skill and temperament as well as a lifetime of accomplishments in field of international affairs. He believes that collaboration with other countries is crucial to efforts to win the war on terror and make America safer.
An understanding of global affairs is essential in these times, and central to this campaign Kerry has the experience and the understanding necessary to successfully restore the United States to its position of respect within the community of nations. He has the judgment and vision necessary to assure that the United States fulfills a leadership role in meeting the challenges we face throughout the world.
The current Administration's policies of unilateralism and rejection of important international initiatives, from the Kyoto Accords to the Biological Weapons Convention, have alienated much of the world and squandered remarkable reserves of support after 9/11. This climate of hostility affects us all, but most especially impacts those who reside overseas. Disappointment with current U.S. leadership is widespread, extending not just to the corridors of power and politics, but to the man and woman on the street as well.
We believe John Kerry is the Democrat who can go toe-to-toe against the current Administration on national security and defense issues. We also remain convinced that John Kerry has the best chance of beating the incumbent in November, and putting America on a new course that will lead to a safer, more secure, and more stable world.

Yes. Kerry was one of the 95 Senators who voted against Kyoto. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks! Your memory or do you have a link?
I got the actual vote record and summary of the bill from the Senate web site.

I failed to provide a link to the Kerry letter posted in #151: A Letter for Democrats AbroadThanks, piasa. You always remember info and make the connection. My eyes went straight to Joseph Wilson without really seeing Randy Beers. I've provided links that refer to some of the material you provided.
Fox pundit lashes out at Brit Hume
The resignation of Rand Beers from the National Security Council is giving off plenty of sparks. Just before the Iraq war began, Beers quit as one of the government's top counterterrorism officials. He's now joined John Kerry's presidential campaign and went public this Monday in a Washington Post page-one profile, in which he branded the White House's Iraq policy an "ill-conceived and poorly executed strategy." That, apparently, was too much for Fox News Channel anchor Brit Hume, who on air accused Beers of having falsely testified under oath about Colombian terrorists training at al Qaeda's Afghan camps, reports our David E. Kaplan. Now Hume is the one being attackedby former Fox analyst Larry Johnson, who served with Beers at the State Department and insists Beers acted with the best intelligence then available. "You impugned Rand's integrity on your show by suggesting that he lied and had to correct his lie," Johnson wrote Hume in an E-mail titled "Reprehensible." He added, "Have you no shame?" In his response, Hume suggested that Johnson be "more careful in writing late-night messages based on what you imagine someone to have said." Johnson replied by citing the transcript and sending the exchange around town. "You are starting to sound like Bill Clinton trying to define 'sex'," wrote Johnson. Read it all here, in reverse order:

The first line of this letter is part of THE BIG LIE. During all of the Cold War years there were huge anti-American movements in many parts of the world. Yankee/Yanqui go home was common graffiti world-wide.Precisely my point.
My professors are spinning us out... big time. I pity the future if my classmates take over.
This letter is evil, and I hope that Kerry is forced to make a public retraction.
I just hope enough people read the letter to just who they'd be putting into the Oval Office.

I didn't find it, but thought it needed posting for comparison and safekeeping. Link was in the following post:

I found this same letter posted here. It was an open letter to Americans abroad posted by the steering committee of Americans Overseas for Kerry, one of the groups on the Kerry campaign web site.
So this text is coming from a part of the Kerry campaign. But would anybody associated with the campaign really be dumb enough to send it to the Iranian news agency? Seems more likely to me that the news agency could have gotten it off the Kerry web site, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for posting it.
Now when his site removes these documentations of treason, we will have this for evidence later on in 2004.

"What I know is that if he wins the office, he will talk with the Mad Mullahs of Tehran and it is very harmful for the movement inside Iran."
I bet some rat/rats listed on that email has been talking to representatives of the mass murdering Mullah Islamofascist Despots of Iran. They have been telling the Despots to hang on until Kerry is president. Then things can go back to normal. The despots will donate massive sums to the rats in Congress to stay in power.

Do us a favor and keep your own list of the names of the rats who signed this email like Wilson of Plameland.
I'm sure those names will pop up quite often this year in attempts to electronically lynch GW and in the print media.
Then you can ping us when that happens with a link to this thread.
Thanks for your great job in tracking these traitors and their Islamofascist buddies.

My professors are spinning us out... big time. I pity the future if my classmates take over. I saw that you understood the Big Lie. I am hoping that you can quietly (not to interfere with your academic needs) have opportunities to 'reeducate' some of your fellow students. Those of you in university now are truly on the front lines in this war of ideology.

I'm not sure why it should be necessary to state the obvious, but:
Even veterans can be bank robbers, murderers, vagrants, druggies, child molesters, and yes, traitors.
This slimeball's behavior is mind-boggling.

I learned the hard way two years ago when I was gathering data about the forest fires in Oregon and the subsequent fish kill on the Klamath River.
I would post something from the enviral groups in Oregon that had been on their web sites for years if not a decade or more or policies of the State and Fed forestry depts.
A week or so later that data was gone.
The California state rats in charge of the river flow data in California, somehow lost the data on the Klamath/Trinity River Flows shortly after the fish kill.
Those two events taught me about storing data.
Then when Cruza la raza Busta our wallets ran for governor in California during the recall of Herr Davis, terrible statements of La Raza and other hispanic anti America sites just disappeared. I warned people who were getting data from these sites, and I believe a lot was saved.
Last year when Doug Thompson of Capitol Hill Blue was exposed of lying or Deep Throating a non existant source, data and threads disappeared from the Capitol Hill Blue site.
So whenever we find data like this email, we have to save. There is no better place than on Free Republic with keyword references.
Thanks again.

"I am sure that if he wins the office, Mullahs will normalize the relation with the US government."
Then after they donated money to the rats in power, bought big ads from the NY Slimes, LA Slimes and the Washington Compost, they would continue to kill the innocents in Iran and fund Islamofascist terrorism around the world.
Then, these worthless lunatic lib news organizations would return to spiking the grim reality stories coming from Iran like they did from the days of Jimmy Carter to 9/11.

The day of 911, I was headed out to do a home inspection for a client, I inspect homes for buyers. After discussing with my client whether to go ahead with inspection or not, he decided we were there, so let's get it done... needless to say we were all shook up and felt that what we were trying to do that day had no meaning compared to had what just happened.
The Realtor who listed the property showed up and the first thing he said when he entered the house was, "a lot of people must really hate Bush". I asked him what the hell he was talking about. He said, "well, he stole the election..." I then asked him if he thought Democrats were behind the horrific event that just occurred. He looked at me, realizing what his stupid quip meant and tried to back peddle.
Now with Kerry making this promise to make amends with the Islamo fascists, makes me wonder if maybe the Democrats didn't actually have a hand in that awful day. Maybe the Dems were soo pissed and wanted to hurt this President so badly they were willing to put the the country through the agony of that day... makes one wonder.

Thanks.
My remarks come close to two decades of watching what happened in Iran thanks to Jimmy Carter and afterwards thanks to Jimmy Carter, the rats in congress/state department and the bought out America left wing mediots.
