Tancredo is supporting GWB. Tancredo's plan will likely get signed by POTUS if it can clear the Congress. The POTUS proposes and the Congress disposes.

Actually, now that I'm looking at the Selective Service's site, I see no 1953's at all were called up in 1973. The last year actually drafted up was 1952.
People have mentioned that to me in the past, but I never paid attention. And there I thought my 1-Y was gold.

No apology necessary, and thank you.
I am impressed that you can have fun watching these lying liberals who will do "anything" to regain their power.
When it comes to using and abusing our "military" for their own political self gain I consider that "evil" and on the same level as terrorism and Saddam's method of operation.
Thoughts and prayers for America's real "HEROS".

I've demonstrated amply on this thread that Cheney is not in hiding.
What is this about Cheney in hiding???

He outed his own wife. Plain and simple. Then projected (it's the dem way!) that act upon the WH.

Voters are smart enough to know if their vote might be needed to assure a Bush reelection in their state.
As I say repeatedly, Bush will win my southern state handily. He won't need my vote and likely won't get it unless he esposuses sensible budget and border policies.
Come on, be fair. For instance, I'm not accusing you of favoring huge deficits just because you appear to lemmingly follow Bush. You probably don't favor the big spending.
Well, it's the same with me. I like Bush but I'm just trying to get some points accross that I think he needs to consider. What's wrong with that?
A monolithic base is, ultimately, an unrepresented base. Just like the blacks and Dimocrats, the Dimocrats take them for granted every election.

"You sign up here on 30 January 2004 and come on here and tell us that Russert is a good interviewer -- that is Bravo'
Oh well. ;O>
To: olliemb
Cspan reviewed the interview and the people on the dais all thought he had done very well and they also said that the WHite House should be quite comfortable and confident with the interviewGreat to hear. According to some freepers checking out dem forums, even they conceded the president did well. Up thread someone posted excerpts from the NRO Blog. They are wrong in their assessment, and I'll chalk it up to being too concerned about media presentation rather than real person presentation.
To: cyncooper
Well that is what I thought, however, there does seem to be some whispers about somebody being indicted. So will have to wait and see.
To: windchime
No, no, no. Husband insists he bought this one a while back near the check-out at Target or K-Mart! Very stealth. No one will see you. :)

I'm just teasing you, BTW. Just joining in on the juvenile portion of the debate.
However, I must add that I disagree with you on President Bush being "inarticulate." Was he "inarticulate" when he iterated a profound message using a simple, down-to-earth phrase like "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?" as he stood with firefighters and other rescuers at Ground Zero?
I think the people hear him just fine.

Every vote counts. I don't understand how you can say that you don't want Bush defeated but you're not going to be voting for him. What if we all had that thought process? He wouldn't win, would he?

A phrase he made up on the spot, BTW. I missed the interview. How did he do?

I love your objectivity when you say I seem to be lemmingly following Bush.
If I carefully consider my vote and consider everything about this election and decide Bush is the best man for the country,I am a lemming.
It is an election year and I find it not in the interest of my candidate to point out what I don't agree with on every thread.I do treat peoples concerns with respect ,but I do grow weary of the lemming accusations.

"the questions were repeats of the same topics to show Pres Bush in a bad light including the graphic that Russert tossed up that showed the Bush economy in a total bad light completely ignoring 9/11. "
No I think you are wrong. People have been saying bad stuff about the President. Russert just asked Bush his side of the story. As in..."People are saying this......What do you say? How do you answer them?" And if Bush has good answers then GREAT! As long as you have a good answers there is no reason to be afraid or angry about tough questions.

Me too! I've tried to be really patient with people but every time I say that I love my president, they accuse me of having a crush on him. This is going to be a very tiresome year.
