Democrats are convinced Saddam was wrongly accused -- that he was not armed with WMD, rendering the invasion unjustified.

But, John, surely there must be ONE senator who agrees with what Bush has done and is doing......why, he said this under the Klintune Administration:

"Look, we have exhausted virtually all our diplomatic effort to get the Iraqis to comply with their own agreements and with international law. Given that, what other option is there but to force them to do so? The answer is, we don't have another option. We have got to force them to comply, and we are doing so militarily."
Two guesses who that was!

...and of course, I would still be sick and couldn't go to Union Pier to see the President today.

He is here to make a major announcement about Homeland Security. He landed here at 10:30.
He's off the plane and greeting the officials at the Air Force Base.

Lindsey Graham, Henry Brown and I can't tell who else is with him. He is shaking hands with the people who work at the base - not military, just plain people.

Possible point of interest: I found this captioned pic on the official U.S. Navy website but I could find no accompanying articles or photos. I searched the Navy's website and FR and didn't find anything. Does anybody have any info about this? They seized half a ton of something apparently.

040202-N-0000X-001 Aboard USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG 58) Feb. 2, 2004 – Just as USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG 58) was in visual range of a 50 ft boat, a large plume of black smoke suddenly appeared on the horizon. The fire was combated with Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF). The crew aboard the 50 ft boat set their boat on fire to destroy contraband. Of the 1.5 tons originally onboard, one half metric ton was recovered and was seized as evidence. U.S Navy photo (RELEASED)
