UPDATE!!!!!!!

I've copied and pasted everyone's name into this (I PRAY I DIDN'T MISS ANYONE!!)

Where to begin a day like today...

This morning I had my Ultrasound appointment.

I had the same technician I always do. Judy whose a very experienced capable technician who has done this for over a decade or more.

She made me feel so much better about the findings, because she said the nodule was SO SMALL!!! But she would need me to come back because the Catscan was still at my Physicians and she needed it to FIND where the heck this "little" nodule even was!!

She also said the NODULE could be ANYTHING!! A blood vessel, a scar from my liver biopsies taken in the past, ANYTHING..and that she might not even be able to see it EVEN WITH the Catscan films to guide her. Because 2mm is that *SMALL*.

I was to come back for further Ultrasound at 6pm.

Then she called me at 4:30 pm. I DON'T NEED TO COME BACK IN!!

IT WASN'T EVEN IN MY LIVER.. IT IS IN MY RIGHT LUNG!!

TALK ABOUT STUNNED.. PRAISE GOD!!!!! I Know you're wondering how this could happen. I'll explain.

It seems the Catscan had caught an image of my Right LUNG and the nodule is in the lower RIGHT lobe of my RIGHT LUNG!

I used to smoke years ago (Over 4 years now)..and she said it could be an scar, or OLD emphazema, or even the fact that I just got over a LONG flu bug and was coughing. She said WHO KNOWS!

But it IS NOT IN MY LIVER!! They want to repeat the Catscan of the lung and liver in 3 months.

ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO GOD!!

I can't even begin to tell you how much your prayers have meant. We truly believe in the power of prayer!

She said her radiologist was part to blame, because they didn't transcribe the report right, and my doctor went off the report, and my doctor had only requested the Liver and abdomen.

It didn't say "nodule on the LUNG". It said "nodule, lower right lobe". So the report will be re-written.

And it is partly my doctors fault, because she has had the film since the 29th, and CLEARLY it was in the LUNG.

I intend to speak to some people about what just happened(gently, because we both forgive them, but good grief!)

The nurse from my doctors office even said to me when I asked "what does it mean? when she said I had a "nodule", She said "well, this is why we screen you every six months, because if you get cancer we want to catch it early". (arghhhhh) Nice huh? Again,.. I HAVE TO forgive them.. but WOW.. what a couple days we had. Until we gave it to God. But what a lesson in FAITH!!! And the power of the peace it can afford us!

Looking at the Calendar.. THEY HAD THE FILMS THEN!! According to the Imaging Center they've had them since the 29th! (So ????)

Anyway.. tonight we are JUST REJOICING!!! TEARS OF JOY!!!

Now to pray for others! MORE GOOD NEWS LORD..PLEASE LORD!!

*volchef* who is pregnant, is having a super hard time with that, and has a sweet little girl whom we have prayed for on this forum that has a cyst on her brain. Continued prayers for you sweetheart!

If you're interested in knowing about it, ask me to tell you how God spoke to Art and I on Friday after we prayed so hard on Thursday night. We say our Church came "through for us".. in earlier responses. But when we reflected upon it.. we realized that it was really nothing short of a miracle,..and God was actually "speaking" to us. I hate to sound so mysterious, but I need to run. I've been on the phone and now on the computer all night. SHARING GOOD NEWS TAKES TIME YA KNOW!!! :o)

My mother always had a "shadow" or something on her lower right lung x-rays. It wasn't cancer or emphysema, it was old tuberculous scar tissue. That was strange, because her mother had gone to a TB sanitarium for a year, and no one ever knew that her young daughter had had any TB problems.

And since your radiologist mixed up your liver with your lung, let's trust that any problem area is really okay.:)

What exciting news! God does do miracles, I really believe that. This entire experience is a lesson for each of us..we can each learn and apply this experience to our own lives. I believe that in all my mind heart and soul.
