Vets_Husband_and_Wife Need Our Prayers!

"My Liver Doctor is wonderful. I've had the same specialist for over 10 years.

We do an Ultra Sound and a Cat Scan once a year. It works out to be one every six months. Last week was the Cat Scan.

This morning my Liver Doctor called to say there was a Lesion on my Liver. Thankfully Art was home with me, because to be honest, this really knocked the wind out of me. I guess I had gotten used to them always being negative.

My biggest fear has been the big "CA" of the Liver. That is why we screen so often for it, because of my disease. (Hep/C that I got while serving-see FR profile).

Anyway,.. we went into the Doctors office today and have more blood work tomorrow. An Ultrasound next Wednesday.

We are both scared (I'd be lying if I didn't admit it) but we also decided to stay strong, and pray that this is BENIGN, we are asking God for that, and are giving this worry over to Him.

We would REALLY appreciate some prayers. I'm so mentally exhausted and I don't have it in me to do post this right now. So we ask for your prayers that this lesion is BENIGN. We also ask that we can be STRONG and honor our Father and KEEP THE FAITH at all times!

The Fears have really calmed down now. The Prayers have helped SO MUCH!!

But here you are worried about me, when it is YOU who needs comfort. You are such a sweet person. You just amaze me.

Sending so many prayers *your* way. How I wish we could help you with your Mom. I'm sending SO MANY Prayers for comfort for your Mom and for you. May God give your Mom peace and relief from the pain she is enduring, may He let her just rest in comfort. And may He give you peace and comfort. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ who shed His Blood for all of us.

I was such a chicken when this news first hit us. I really needed help! This thread was so awesome. The scripture and prayers pulled me back to reality. Art and I both needed it. We read this all day Thursday and it helped like nothing else could have. It took our minds off our fear. Which was overwhelming us. We let go of the fear and grabbed hold of our faith. But I admit, it took a couple days.

On Friday, our Chiropractor's office had flowers waiting for us when we got there. I had called to say I thought we could both use a cracking. Told them about the report, and those girls had a large basket with purple and white flowers in it to cheer us up! With a card in it that said they were PRAYING for us!

We have been all smiles ever since.

We got out of the house today..and we are going to stay positive in prayer. This thread has just made a huge difference. So have all the churches doing Prayer chains, and just everyone. Our Church here, has come through for us.. and we just know things are going to be ok.

Then you, and your beautiful reply. It has touched me so deeply. You really are a "PoisedWoman". But you are also a dear FRiend. *Thank you* for making me feel so special,so loved, and "cared" for.

Your prayers and all the other prayers on this board, have truly lifted Art and I, and will carry us through this.

There are no words to *sufficiently* thank you for this.

So I'll use the old standy "Thanks *SO* much!".

Dear FRiend;

Well, I posted to all these wonderful FRiends who lifted us in our time of need. They helped MORE than they can imagine.

FEAR was clouding our FAITH!

We feel so much stronger, and it had so much to do with this thread. Then we had our Chiropractors office surprize us with a wicker basket full of purple and white flowers and a card saying they were praying for us when we showed up on Friday.

We didn't get our grandson for the weekend, because Daddy is sick with the Flu. So we got out of the house. It was great. The sky was blue, and life is a gift.

I have an amazing story to tell about our Church, and want to share it. Because I think it will blow everyone away. Especially in light of what has just happened.

But I need to see how this all unfolds just a bit more.

I just want to thank you my FRiend. You always step up and help when people cry out.

You are an awesome Prayer Warrior. And I don't think you know how much it helps. BUT IT REALLY HELPS!! PRAYERS LIKE THESE WORK!

The AFP (blood test) came back in the normal range! I'm taking this as good news. I don't know what that means for the Ultrasound. But I will take every single piece of good news, as just that.
