McDonald's To Drop Timberlake Sponsorship - Timberlake also stood to jeopardize a marketing relationship with McDonald's although a spokesman for the fast food giant said Monday -- while declining to say whether Timberlake will appear in future ads -- "everyone involved has said it was an unfortunate incident and their apologies are in order."

Yea and no. He never blows up at the other employees, noly his sons. If you have ever worked for you father, than it is a common thing. I am sure there is a lot more focus on the arguments for the show, but I am sure his sons are making enough $$$ now to put up with anything from the old man.

I did not see any of the halftime show. I knew that the entire half hour would be tasteless, so my wife and I switched on FNC to catch up on the news. The game guys - Simms and the other guy - did not even mention it, so my wife and I did not know about it until the next morning, when we heard it on the news driving in to work.

With that said, to me there are two sad consequences of this silly act. As of today, I have not seen one replay of the game on the news. The replays and the talk of this silly act is all you hear about, and nothing about a great game and the two outstanding quarterbacks. It takes the shine off of them.

The second sad consequence is that my wife and I - she works for NASA and both of think that it is the only government entity that gives us a return on our tax dollars - were both touched by the glowing tribute to NASA and the fallen astronauts before the game. The song was inspiring, the scene was touching, and to see the faces of the players - whom seemed touched and inspired - it was truly a grand moment. The NFL raised itself up at that moment to honor not the athletes or the game, but an event and action that is beyond most of us. I got in a little spat with a poster a couple days ago about athletes. The poster stated that playing QB in the NFL was a rare gift. Well, being an astronaut is even rarer and more challenging.

Then the NFL, CBS, and MTV ruined it all by the halftime debacle. They spat in the faces of the families of the fallen heros with their soft-core porn antics.

Doesn't matter it looked real. Hell the image on the screen is the same either way. Besides what they don't seem to get that the breast doesn't even matter, it was the trash language, the dancing, and poor taste for a general audiance. How many will be picketing next years superbowl?

Don't you think the arguing, etc. is an act for the show? I think it is an exageration of the truth. I don't think anyone who blows their top that often could keep his very highly skilled employee's.

Some is for the show but I would venture a guess that he has always been that way. I think I heard somewhere (maybe Sr himself) that he wasnt the best parent and was doing drugs and stuff.

Has anyone seen the new "Southern Chopper"? It's a similar show, but with the guys from Milwaukee Iron.

It's also pretty entertaining (without as much arguing). These guys appear to be real 'artists'.

What about "American Hotrod"? Has anyone ever seen it? Pretty entertaining, too, but not as good IMO.

People who are disgusted by the defining down of deviency typically do not picket. Sometimes they boycott, usually they just shrug their shoulders and move on.

American Hot Rod is not as good. They have a new show coming on about street racing which looks good. The bottom line is that American Chopper is great television, and many women love the show too! Its about real people who act like real people.

I used to watch Monster Garage but I believe the 'lime-light' has gone to Jesse's head these days.

Definately. American Chopper has only gotten better and the last POW bike was really something!

I looked up McDonald's home web site and emailed them about Justin Timberlake and their sponsorship, and how inappropriate that is for a FAMILY restaurant. ;-D
