WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Preliminary tests on a white, powdery substance found in the mailroom of Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist indicate the presence of the deadly substance ricin, a Homeland Security official said Monday.

A U.S. Capitol police spokeswoman said the department is investigating the matter but would not comment on the substance found, saying only that preliminary tests were positive for a "hazardous substance."

That does it. Bush should fire Condoleeza.

Ricin. Rice out.

[Sorry. Couldn't resist.]

Kind of ironic that our intel can't find WMD in iraq then some of it suddenly ends up in the senate mailroom.

Terrorist caught in Britain with Ricin

Iraq was weaponising Ricin according to David Kay.

The nexus is that terrorists like to use ricin, Iraq likes to weaponise it and John Kerry says that the risk from terrorism is overblown.

I can't believe what just happened. Bill Frist and the head of the Capitol Hill Police are giving a live news conference. Looks like it is Ricin, has tested positive 4 of 5 tests so far. Fox News leaves the live briefing and goes back to a Bill O'Reilly show replay after 5 minutes!!! are they out of their minds?? What the hell else is a 24 hour news channel for? CNN leaves the conference too, but at least their wimpy newspeople kept talking about the story.
